Pondering for minutes Elena looks up at the sky with her sunglasses and calmly says "Sit tight like a good pet. There will be plenty of time for you to please me." Sitting down on the hot sand Cloud can't help but feel frustration. Biting his lower lip at the thought of Aerith in Shinra's hands only enhances his anger. But he can't honestly do much as Elena's made it quite clear. "If only there was a way..." says Cloud sounding rather bleak as the hot sun bears down on him.
Elsewhere in Costa del Sol near the inn two children have managed to appear. The boy has black hair wearing blue shorts and a white shirt. While the girl has brown hair, a white hat, a white shirt with a one piece red bathing suit. In addition to that the girl has a refreshingly cool sweet chocolate ice cream cone on her right hand to help fight off the heat. Giving it a lick the girl asks "So what was it that you found on the boat?" The boy opens his palm and says sounding rather excited "This!" In front of the girl is a yellow sphere and she asks "Is it a jaw breaker?" The boy defensively says "No you idiot! It's materia!" Getting mad the girl sticks her tongue out and replies "I'm telling on you for calling me stupid!!" Gasping the boy says "Oh no you don't!" Within moments the boy passes his hand across the girl's face and a bluish aura appears on the girl's face. The boy smiles arrogantly and says "It's Manipulate materia dummy. And if you're gonna try to get me in trouble then I'm gonna get you in trouble first."
Looking around the beach the boy spots the blonde Turk sun bathing on the beach bed. Looking at the girl's ice cream the boy forms a wicked grin as he's got an idea. With the girl under his control he says "You see that blonde lady over there?" The girl shows a glazed look in the eyes as she listens to the boy and "looks" into the direction she's been ordered to. "I order you to go over there and throw your ice cream at her. That's what you get for being a tattle tale." Silently the girl makes her way towards Elena.
Elena on the other hand unknown of her incoming nuisance is enjoying the sea air and weather. Knowing she has a companion of sorts only sweetens the deal. Suddenly Elena feels her sun blocked as she notices someone is casting a shadow over her. Removing her glasses she spots the little girl holding a rapidly melting chocolate ice cream. Not liking this invasion of her privacy Elena demands "Get out of here kid." Without a word from the girl, she continues to throw the ice cream towards the female assassin's stomach. Feeling the cool temperature on her bare flesh makes Elena's eyes widen as she yells sounding very much upset "What are you DOING!?" Elena's words rang so loudly that the girl comes out of her trance and notices what she's done. Gulping she starts running and behind her she hears Elena yell "That's right, you better run you brat!!"
Cloud who saw everything had to admit this was an interesting development. One of those karma or what goes around, comes around sort of thing. He chuckles softly to himself, but to ensure that Elena doesn't hear him he covers his own mouth with his dark gloved hand. Wiping the chocolate ice cream off her stomach with her bare hands Elena complains "My boss gives me some days off and this happens." Tossing the ball of melting chocolate ice cream to the side Elena looks down at her dirty stomach. Realizing how bad it looks to be in public dirty Elena says "I'm going for a swim, you better not go anywhere because if I return and you're not here, you'll be in big trouble."
Elena wastes no time in standing up and heading towards the water. Looking back Cloud spots the little kids not too far from where he is near the stairs that lead out of the beach. He sees the girl turn red with anger as the boy laughs holding the yellow materia in his open palm. The girl yells "I'm telling mom about what you made me do with this stupid thing!" Keeping with her anger the girl nabs the yellow sphere from the boy's hands and throws it directly to the ground. The materia broke into pieces. The boy looking shocked as well as on the verge of tears says "Not if I tell her first that you broke what's mine!" Both kids quickly leave the beach to tend to their own affairs.
"So she was under control?" asks a curious Cloud. Feeling curiosity taking hold Cloud wanders towards the broken yellow shards of materia. Grabbing a piece Cloud gets a feel for its properties. "This is...Manipulate materia." Feeling like he's just had a revelation Cloud says "With this, I may be able to help Aerith." No doubt Manipulate Materia has its uses, but "It works better when the target is weak." Beginning to get ideas on how to manipulate Elena to save Aerith Cloud can't help but form a small smile. He also considers the kinds of things he would need to do to ensure Elena is tired enough so she can't resist the Materia's effects. Pocketing the piece of materia, Cloud heads right back to the beach bed.
He sits there under the boiling sun waiting Elena to return. The hot sand just keeps on getting even hotter and Cloud continues to sweat. Trying to comfort himself Cloud thinks "Elena's swimming right now. Swimming is quite a demanding activity. So she's already wasting energy, so I'm off to a good start." Soon enough droplets of water begin to fall around Cloud. This is followed by a large shadow covering him. Looking up he sees Elena her body notably moist after her swim. "Did you miss me little guy?" Cloud kept his mouth clamped shut. Elena laid down on her beach bed and says "You sure like to give the cold shoulder." Elena closes her eyes to relax and immediately opens them when she hears Cloud's voice as he asks:
"Is there something I can do for you?"
Elena turns and looks down in the direction of Cloud's small form. Feeling curious she asks "Didn't you ask me this question before?" Trying his best to keep casual Cloud says "You're on vacation and it seems to me like you're not being properly pleased." Scoffing after hearing his words Elena says "And you think you can pamper me? Get real." Cloud not wanting to let his chance slip by says sounding confident "If you'd give me a chance, I'll show you how far I'm willing to go!" Keeping silent for a few moments makes the scene feel rather fragile. Elena wonders what's with the change in attitude. Admittedly it is appealing to see her man servant on with the program and what if he fails to satisfy? He'll just make a fool of himself in front of her which would be amusing. After her moment of silence, Elena says "Oh alright, what do I have to lose? Let's see what you can offer me since you seem so eager."
Getting off her beach bed, Elena begins to gather her things and heads back to her hotel with Cloud engulfed in her hand. When the hand opens Cloud is treated with a view of the room of the Inn that Elena is on. Truly an interesting looking place. Expensive looking to boot with how fine the dressers, the mirrors, the bathroom, the windows, beds, tables, etc look. No doubt, Shinra pays her well if she can afford such accommodations. Within moments Cloud's thoughts are interrupted as he hears Elena say...
"How about we start with..."
