"True. Most boosting potions are only temporary, and probably won't boost your abilities to what you'd desire...
But there are some potions that would make you a force to be reckoned with...
And I have two potions in mind to do so." The shopkeeper says.
"Really!?" Asahi was astonished at this information.
"Yes...

First, the Great Fairy-Scales Elixir.
Or
The Mighty Giant's Blood Tonic.
Both would grant you immense power, though in different ways." She lists his options.
"Great Fairy-Scales Elixir?
I didn't even know fairies exist." Asahi was surprised to know that such mythical beings exist in this world.
"Yes they do!
Illusive beings they are, weary of outsiders and others...
The Great Fairies are the most powerful of all other fairies...
Back when I was an Adventurer myself, I was gifted some of the scales from one's elegant and magical wings...
Her people then showed me a recipe on how to make an elixir with them to make an incredibly powerful potion out of them, boosting the drinker's magical power & mana reserves to incomprehensible heights!" The old woman explained.

And what about the Mighty Giant's Blood Tonic? I've never seen, nor heard of giants either." Asahi asks.
"They too are beings that keep to themselves, hiding from the prying eyes of smaller beings such as us...
They usually either hovel up in the deep caverns & depths of the earth, or weave the very clouds into the foundation for their dwellings...
My friends & I had to rescue a baby giant from some horrible wyverns...
Once we reunited the infant to his parents, they offered us both their gold & their blood, which they told us could be used to skyrocket our physical prowess to the point that we would be nigh unstoppable...
I remember my old friend would slap around monsters like they were bugs due to taking it...

Due to circumstances, Asahi with either have to endure drastic side affects(From the Great Fairy-Scales Elixir, resulting in shrinking), or one of the beautiful & amazing woman in his life will take the Mighty Giant's Blood Tonic incorrectly, resulting in them being grown to a giant(esses) size?
