When Lan finally got his baring, he could tell that he'd been shifted to the bottom of Mayl's backpack. Meaning the gym clothes were above him, in all of their filth. He tried to climb back up on top, in hopes of getting out sooner overall. However, when he tried to climb up through them, he ended up pulling them down on top of him, as he continued to squirm and pull. When he finally stopped moving, he was tangled up in them, and one of his arms has stuck through a small hole in the seem of Mayl's shorts.
