Although he still felt like he had been through a blender, the pain from his ribs had vanished, whatever black magic Raven had used mending his broken bones. She looked down on her tiny prey and smiled.
"I told you we didn't want to hurt you. But don't worry, you'll like this next part."
Robin said nothing, currently in the throes of a hallucination. He saw his mentor, looking over him. "You did well."
"What's he so happy about?" Jinx asked, noticing the smile on Robin's face as she bought out the straws.
"The little man is looking forward to what I can do with him!" Pantha boasted as she drew a straw, a boast Bumblebee scoffed at.
"We all know he liked his time with me the most. Right Star?" Rather than answer, Starfire drew a straw and looked on at the others. "Are you sure this will work?"
"He's definitely trained to deal with torture," Raven answered, pulling her own straw out. "Maybe we're going about this wrong."
"That what I said!" Argent answered as she pulled her straw. "He's so focused on dealing with pain he won't be able to handle this!"
As the girls drew their straws, Robin's hallucination continued. The figure of his mentor was soon blocked out by the monolithic toe of one of his tormentors, who he recognized as Pantha. And immediately, it fell, leaving only the colossal foot of his captress facing him.
Soon all the girls had drawn their straws as Robin looked on, his hallucination having dissipated to see Jinx holding up her straw. He gasped, but sighed with relief as he saw she wasn't first. The other girls soon followed suit until a loud cry broke the silence.
"HA! I win! The little man is mine first!"
Robin gulped in terror as Pantha took her prize from Raven's hand, too weak to resist, even as she shouted "I'm going to enjoy this!"
"I told you we didn't want to hurt you. But don't worry, you'll like this next part."
Robin said nothing, currently in the throes of a hallucination. He saw his mentor, looking over him. "You did well."
"What's he so happy about?" Jinx asked, noticing the smile on Robin's face as she bought out the straws.
