Huey was resting under his favorite tree on top of the hill that could see all of Woodcrest. When a strange sensation overcame him and he found that the roots of the tree had increased 100 times and he was a big as the ants climbing up the tree. Before Huey could even realize that he had been shrunk a massive light skinned, black hand came from above and swooped him up.
“(Giggles) hehe Hi Huey. You’re looking pretty cute when you’re this small.”
“Jasmine! What did you do?”
“I shrank you silly. Or did you really think everybody else grew into giants except you.”
“Why would you do this Jazmine? Grow me back right now! I need to get back to my Liberation Front.”
“No I don’t think so. You’re always so grumpy and you never want to play with me. I thought I could make you happier if I showed you what it’s like to play with someone your own age instead of all those old mean people you’re arguing with. So I got the idea to shrink you down and I could play with you like one of my dolls. Then you can see how much fun it is and put a smile on your face every once in a while.”
Huey says seriously. “Jasmine this is not funny. Grow me back right now or I’m telling your father.”
“Sorry Huey that’s not going to work. I’m the big kid now and I'm going to say what were going to play until you can be a little more cheerful.”
The young girl dropped the African-American boy in her pocket and set off to her house. When she got home she….
