Cerulean eyes gazed down at the form of the disgraced Fire Nation prince. They belonged to a girl around his age, whose skin was a deep tan and hair was done up in a braid with two hair loops that went from the top of her head into the base of her braid. Zuko recognized what she was immediately. The blue dyed layered clothing fringed by white fur, it could only be the clothing worn by those of the water tribe. The vagrant prince soon realized that he was no longer on his ship, but rather one of the planets two poles. The girl squatted down so her knees were at her chest, and took a good, long look at him. Her eyes then narrowed menacingly.
Katara noticed the moving speck when she entered her room. It was tiny, and there was nothing that lived in the South Pole that she knew of that was that small. She looked closer, and saw that the thing seemed to realize it was being watched. What she thought was its head was clearly pointed in her direction, and it had taken an apprehensive stance. Getting lower to the ground, Katara got her first good look at it, and recognized what it was quickly after. It was bipedal, and it bore a Fire Nation uniform. Before her was a tiny member of the Fire Nation military. The same military that took Katara's mother from her, and she planned to take her restitution. This little soldier would pay for what his nation did with his sweat and tears.
The giant hand shot forward at Zuko, and the prince dodged as well as he could in hopes of a safe get away.
