The battleready group began their trip from the Girl's Dorm to wherever Mizore was. Their goal was to find some way to revert Tsukune to normal size but Kurumu seemed more interested in killing the girl. Tsukune was in Ruby's hands, Moka quickly having determined Kurumu couldn't be trusted and Yukari too young, he personally agreed with the choice. Each girl stayed alert, eyeing every little detail for Mizore or possibly some other enemy. But they weren't even outside before they saw Mizore standing across from the door, staring uncaringly at the group.
Each girl calmly stepped outside and poised for attack, Kurumu growing her succubus wings and tail as well as her claws, Yukari holding her small wand and tarot cards, and Ruby who had her own wings and her wand in her left hand, Tsukune being in the other. However no one attacked, it was just the silence before what could be a battle.
"I see you guys found my boyfriend. Can I have him back?" Mizore asked, acting as if Tsukune was all hers.
"Like hell you will!!" Kurumu roared, on the brink of lunging at the ice manipulator.
"We want you to fix Tsukune. There are too many ways he could've been shrunken, we need you to come up with a cure." Yukari added knowledgably
"Cure?" The yuki-onna repeated, sounding confused but interested. Nonchalantly she began walking around, not towards the group or away from them, but just side to side; the group never broke gaze on her. "A cure makes it sound like something is really wrong. Nothing's wrong with Tsukune, his size just makes him more appealing if you ask me."
"Why you little...." Kurumu grunted, clenching her clawed fist to the point of drawing blood. "You're talking about Tsukune like he's your property!"
Mizore smirked devilishly at Kurumu as she took her lolipop from her mouth. "You're one to talk. Let's say it was you who found him small. Would you have done anything different? And that goes for all of you, not just bazooka girl."
All of the group averted their gaze, guiltily realizing Mizore had a point. Tsukune's jaw nearly fell off when he noticed this, "I'm not safe anywhere!?!" He mentally yelled.
Shaken but not defeated Kurumu roared back a retort. "Found? You did this to him! And we wouldn't go so far as to make him announce love for us on the damn PA!"
Still showing signs of apathy Mizore shrugged, pointing a slender finger at the group; Tsukune noticed it was still human but quickly that changed, her human hand turned into an ice claw. "Maybe the two witches wouldn't but you and vampire girl definitely would. Don't act like a saint when you have no right to talk."
Kurumu almost fell to the ground, Mizore's wordplay having the desired effect; still she held her ground. "Maybe so but that won't stop me from kicking your frosty ass!"
"Just come and try." Mizore replied confidently, the air suddenly dropping forty degrees and Mizore's other hand and even her hair turning to ice.
"Be careful." Yukari whispered, "it rained earlier today and that means Mizore has an advantage. Not to mention the lake isn't too far off, this fight could go either way."
Kurumu didn't show any signs of listening. The moment before Yukari finished her sentence the succubus lunged at the yuki-onna, her wings creating momentum for a quick strike. The succubus pulled her claw back and prepared to strike her foe with it. Mizore didn't show any signs of worry, not even moving an inch. When Kurumu came within reach for an attack ice sprouted from the ground and created a wall that blocked her attack, although it crumbled away almost immediately afterward.
It was like a signal that caused the two witches to join in on the fight. "You'll be safe here." Ruby reassure Tsukune, quickly tossing him between her breasts. Together the two witches leapt into the air and attacked via long distance. Mizore reacted to this by leaping out of the way in time to be safe, Kurumu flew after her with her claws poised for another attack.
Tsukune struggled to get some kind of view of the battle, but his position in Ruby's cleavage left his stuck. The two walls of flesh surrounding him were too squishy to use as an actual grip; not to mention with Ruby flying around in every possible direction Tsukune was little more than a ragdoll thrust into various parts of her breasts. His face was pinker than Moka's hair, he couldn't help but feel that in some way he was violating Ruby.
The battle continued, the groups seeming to be equally matched. Under normal circumstances Kurumu and her comrades would have won easily but the rain scattered about the land gave Mizore a huge power boost. She was creating ice attacks and defenses the girl's couldn't even imagine and showing little signs of effort. But the fight seemed to be a tie, for every attack one group threw the other would block it. The fight seemed like it could last forever between the love struck monsters but the fact remained that with each passing second they all grew tired.
Tsukune had to rely on sound alone to figure out anything happening outside. He heard a lot of crashes,explosions and cracking but relatively few grunts of pain. Due to his position he noticed Ruby was sweating, and not just that her heartbeat was amazingly high. While this made Tsukune's position a living sauna he shrugged it off completely, it meant Ruby was getting tired, and if she was getting tired Yukari, Kurumu, and Mizore must have been getting tired too.
Sure enough Tsukune was right, Mizore's ice attacks became less intricate, Kurumu wasn't as fast as when she started, Ruby and Yukari's spells didn't wield the same level of power anymore. They were all tired, but determined to go on until a winner was determined. Tsukune couldn't help but pray all of his friends would remain okay, even Mizore as misguided as she was.
The battle did finally end though.....
