Grandpa Max's Discovery and Punishment

Unable to contain herself Gwen shoots her mouth open and exclaims as loudly as she can "Aaaagh!" "Gwen what's wrong!?" asks her worried grandfather. However, before she could come up with a lie to cover for herself Grandpa Max sees what Gwen only felt. On her stomach the moment she yelled, she moved her hand. The hand that covered Ben's outline. Now the outline of the shrunken boy is not only present, but Gwen's shirt is also stained with a bit of blood. No doubt the end result of Ben's biting all in an attempt to get out. With Gwen's hand no longer hindering him, Ben began to slide downward and soon enough he slipped out of her shirt. But not wanting to fall directly to the floor he holds on to Gwen's pants. From his point of view Ben looks towards his grandfather and screams desperately:
"Grandpa HELP! Gwen shrunk me and has been doing a lot of mean stuff to me! I mean stuff that's way out of line! Like covering me in her foot sweat and her spit! So please get me out of here!"
Placing a hand below his shrunken grandson allows Ben the ability to finally let go. As he does so he feels a sense of relief as he's physically putting distance between himself and Gwen. He feels safer just by no longer being in her grasp and in such close proximity of her. Landing on his relative's hand, it withdraws away from Gwen further enhancing Ben's sense of victory. Not even by holding him near his own nose, Max is able to discern that Ben is indeed telling the truth. He reeks of foot sweat. Despite being rinsed out not too long ago, the smell is still slightly there none the less. The next words made Gwen shiver in fright while Ben could only smile at the developments:
"Is what Ben said true? What do you have to say for yourself?"
Asks Grandpa Max as he sternly looks at Gwen who suddenly looks as if her fear might overcome her before she's able to even form words. Gwen slaps her hands together looking as if she were going to pray and pleads "But Ben started it! He pulled this prank on me and-" "I'm used to seeing you two argue and squabble, but at least you two were always on some form of equal standing. You've gone too far Gwen. What if you hurt him beyond the point of no return? Did you ever think about that!?" yells an angry Max. Taking a breath of air to cool himself leaves Max and Gwen to share a moment of silence. However, this silence is horrifying. Just as soon as she wishes that it was over, Gwen begins to wish it was prolonged when she heard Max say:
"You will return Ben back to normal and you will be punished for this. I'm disappointed in you. Even Ben with the Omnitrix knows better than to use his aliens for tactics and stunts to get back at others in such a way that it could lead to seriously hurting someone."
Beginning to cry, Gwen nods realizing that she's been found out and is now being punished for her actions. Even the little sample of revenge that she managed to attain is not enough to override the feeling of sorrow that she feels now.
Later that day...
Outside the Rustbucket, Grandpa Max and Ben lie on beach beds though nowhere near a beach. As they relax, Ben is able to say with sincerity "Thanks grandpa, you really saved me back there." Grandpa Max not being that gullible says "Don't be so quick to say thanks. While I appreciate the sentiment remember, if it was you who misbehaved to this degree you'd be the one who would be paying for it." Ben knows that Grandpa Max is serious when it comes to teaching him and Gwen to behave. After all he was entrusted with them both by their parents for the duration of the summer trip. But none the less Ben was glad for what his grandfather put a stop to so he reiterates "I know, but still thanks." Grandpa Max nods his head and asks:
"How are you doing Gwen?"
Inside the Rustbucket Gwen finds herself in quite the dilemma. Grandpa Max has confiscated her spell book so she no longer tries anything due to her recent actions. Her hands are completely covered in tape. Unable to use her fingers freely she finds it exceedingly difficult to do the task allotted to her. She has been charged with cleaning the Rustbucket. But in her current state she can't even grab the broom properly. To make matters worse she can't even bite the tape off as Grandpa Max with some input from Ben used a cloth to cover her mouth, much less even chant any spells that she might already have memorized. This is her punishment and she's doing what she can to carry it out. However, something distracts her, it's the sound of footsteps. Inside the Rustbucket enters Ben with an overconfident grin on his face at seeing his cousin being put to suffer.
Extending his hand towards her mouth Ben removes Gwen's cloth. The first thing Ben hears is "Ben when I'm done with this believe me you'll pay!" At hearing her verbal threat, Ben says "Then I guess its a good thing I already planned on doing this..." In a fast motion Ben pulls something from behind him and shoves it into Gwen's mouth. The flavor hits Gwen's taste buds quite strongly. A bitter unpleasant taste that makes her stomach begin to turn. But before she could cough out the object Ben places the cloth right back into Gwen's mouth and ties it tightly to ensure it doesn't fall off. Tears began to form in Gwen's eyes. Ben who looks in glee says "If you're wondering what it is, it's your socks. You know you really stink ha ha!" Muffling Gwen tries to threaten Ben who says not paying attention to her in a rather mocking tone:
"Karma is really something Gwen. Oh and try not to throw up cause if you do, you'll have to clean that up too. See ya, wouldn't want to be ya!"
Taunts Ben as he leaves to join his grandfather outside to rest and unwind. Without much option and now fighting the desire to pour out her insides, Gwen is left to continue work and pay for a revenge plan that went awry. She feels completely defeated. But in addition to that, questions if it was even worth it. Given the sad state of affairs, it's safe to say that it wasn't.
