This day had been par for the course for young Ranma Saotome. Waking up with a splash of water and the wrong gender, early morning spar with the old man, changing back with hot water provided by the Tendo caretaker, Kasumi, and another boring day at school with the occasional crazed rival out for blood. The school day ended with him being victorious once again and he departed for the Tendo homestead quickly dismissal. He reached the house leaving Akane behind with her friends at the school courtyard.
When he entered the gate he noticed the ancient master of his school hopping over the property wall with a bag of what he assumed was women's undergarments. Ranma closed in on the old man and brought him to a halt with a drop kick to the back of the head. While he made sure that the old man was out of it long enough for him to take the bag he heard the screams of what he guessed was a mob of the original owners of what the old man stole. Ranma decided that the old man should face his punishment at the hands of these young women and without a second thought tossed him into the center of the mob. Happosai regained concsiousness as he entered the center of these pissed maidens. He didn't get a chance to escape because he took a multiple hits from feet and broomsticks as soon as he hit the ground. He was in an enormous amount of pain but was still able to discern the cause of his current beating as being his young heir. Happosai plotted his retribution while the last of the young women grew tired and walked away. Ranma would know what it was like to be tread upon by girls by the end of the night.
Later...
Kasumi told the household that dinner would be ready shortly. Happosai crouched hidden in the corner of the dining room waiting for his chance. He knew that Ranma always ate at the same place every meal and since Akane wasn't trying to "cook" tonight it was the perfect chance to take his revenge. After Kasumi had placed the food on the table and went back into the kitchen to bring out the rest of the meal. Happosai took the chance to sprinkle his little bit of revenge into Ranma's dinner. With his speed as a master martial artist Happosai was able to spike Ranma's food with his little concoction and leave the room in time to avoid Kasumi reentering with the rest of dinner.
Later that night after dinner...
Ranma was in his room digesting his meal and happy that tonight his father and Mr. Tendo were out at a bar getting drunk because his meal wasn't sitting right for some reason. He briefly wondered if perhaps Akane had snuck into the kitchen and cooked his food but thought differently when he felt a jolt went through his body. Ranma fell forward onto his knees and felt a tingling sensation run through his body. Ranma's sight began to blur and the room faded out as he finally lost consciousness.
The first thing that Ranma noticed when he regained consciousness was that he was covered in some sort of tarp. He wondered how the hell he got where he was and why whoever did this to him let him unrestraiend. He pusheed that thought to the side for now and worked towards finding the edge of the covering. It took him a few minutes to reach the edge and light casting itself on the floor. When he got out what he saw shocked him senseless. He hadn't gone anywhere, he was still in his room but he was tiny. The tarp was actually his shirt and he was standing naked in the middle of the floor. He was brought out of his thoughts as he heard the sound of feet on wood floor and that someone had just entered the room. He looked up and saw the huge figure of Akane enter the room. She wore a look of absolute fury on her face because Ranma had left her to clean the room herself at school that day. At the same time Shampoo had crawled through the window probably looking for him as well. This caused the inevitable conflict between the two and Ranma was just trying to get their attntion by yelling their names at the top of his lungs.
