"I'm sorry captain Unohana. It feels like there is something on the bottom of my foot and is tickling me. Would it be alright if I check to see what it is?" asked Isane. "Sure." Unohana said to her lieutenant. "Just have a seat over there and I will come and help check out what it is." Isane walks over to an empty chair and waits for Unohana to come to her. "I hope it isn't a bug." thought the lieutenant. "It would be so gross to discover I stepped on a bug with my bare feet."After a while, the captain finally comes over to Isane. "Okay Isane, bring your foot up so that we can see just what is bothering you." said Unohana. Isane brings her foot up so they can see just what is causing the tickling sensation she was experiencing. "Hmm. I don't see anything on your foot Isane. Maybe it is just in your head?" "But captain, I'm sure there is something on there. There just has to be." Isane replied to her captain. "Okay. I'll take a closer look."
Momo's perspective was different. Still licking Isane's foot, she was starting to lose hope of being found. She has been doing this for awhile and she still couldn't get the lieutenant's attention. Just as she was about to give up, she finally heard something that showed that what she did was working. She heard Isane ask for her captain to help her check to see what was causing her foot to feel like it was being tickled. As Isane walked over to the chair, Momo couldn't help but smile,because she knew that she now had a chance to finally get found. As Isane sat down, Momo thought about how she was going to get her attention. "How will I get them to see me?" thought Momo. "I am too small to be sensed. They probably don't know where I am, either. I guess Ill just have to hope that they will see me." As she waited for the chance to get found, Isane started to tap her foot while waiting for the captain. This had the effect of making Momo feel like she was on a roller coaster and disorient her.
Finally, the captain had arrived and had Isane raise her foot. Momo couldn't help the tears of joy that sprang from her face at thechance to finally be saved. As soon as the foot she was on stopped, she was face to face with the titanic faces of Isane and Unohana. "HMM. I DON'T SEE ANYTHING ON YOUR FOOT ISANE. MAYBE IT IS JUST IN YOUR HEAD?" boomed Unohana. "BUT CAPTAIN, I'M SURE THERE IS SOMETHING ON THERE. THERE JUST HAS TO BE." came Isane's equally loud reply. "OKAY. I'LL TAKE A CLOSER LOOK." And soon Momo was confronted with the captain's titanic eye. Momo unpeeled herself from Isane's foot and tried to get Unohana's attention. "CAPTAIN! I'M RIGHT HERE! FOR SOME REASON, I ENDED UP BEING SHRUNK DOWN! PLEASE, HELP ME GET BACK TO NORMAL!" shouted out Momo, who tried her best to be heard. "HMM? WHAT IS THIS LITTLE SPECK?. I THINK I FOUND YOUR PROBLEM ISANE. IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS A TINY BUG ON YOUR FOOT." "WHAT!? CAN YOU SHOW ME THE BUG, CAPTAIN?"asked Isane. When Momo heard the word bug, she tried to yell to them that she wasn't a bug. While she was doing this, she didn't see Unohana's giant fingers coming to grab her until it was too late to run away.
Unohana quickly grabbed the bug in her fingers and showed it to her lieutenant. "So, this was the thing that was tickling my feet?" asked Isane. "It appears so." replied Unohana. "What I can't tell is what kind of bug it is. Would you like to see?" "Yes." came Isane's reply. Unohana carefully handed the bug to Isane so she could see it better. "I'm not sure what kind of bug this thing is either, captain. Should we squash it?" With that, Isane started to push her fingers together to squash the bug for good. To Momo, it felt like she was in the middle of a trash compacter. "NO, ISANE PLEASE! I BEG OF YOU, PLEASE DON'T SQUASH ME!" shouted Momo. Just as suddenly as it began, it stopped. "No no. I don't think that would be a good idea. We don't know what that poor thing could be. For all we know, it could be a new species that could only be found in the soul society. I think we should bring it with us to be checked out." said Unohana. "Okay, captain. But what are we going to carry it in so it doesn't get away?" "I have an idea. Bring me one of your socks. Since it survived under your feet, it should survive in your sock." And with that, Isane went to retrieve her socks. When she returned, Unohana took the bug and dropped it into the sock and tied it into a know to close it. "Come on Isane. Let's get back to our division."
To Momo, it was horrible. First she was stepped on by the giant woman to everyone else. Next she gets called a bug. And now she is in a sock being carried to who knows where. "Oh great. Now I'm stuck in a sock being carried to fourth division to be checked on to see if I'm a new bug. This couldn't possibly get worse." Sadly, it did. The sock she was in already had a slight smell on it from being worn all day. Now that it was closed, the stench had no where else to go but stay inside and quickly got worse. Combined withe the sway of the sock as she was being carried, it was a miracle she didn't throw up yet. It eventually can to an end as the swaying stopped. "Now what?" thought Momo. The sock finally opened and she was dropped onto a table. She then saw Isane and Unohana standing there with magnifying glasses in their hands. "OKAY ISANE, ARE YOU READY TO SEE WHAT THIS THING IS?" asked Unohana. "YES MA'AM." They brought the magnifying glasses up to Momo to finally see what it was that was causing Isane trouble.
What do Isane and Unohana see?
