Her cruel expression faltering for a moment Soi Fon decided to check up on Naruto. Not because of his role as her pet, but more like how if he vanished Hinamori might just go crazy, Soi Fon knew what it was like to lose someone.
Although she kept telling herself she would keep Naruto forever at the current moment she didn't seem so certain, Hinamori deserved some sort of time with the bug. And by the end of a ten month period that might just be all he is, a bug, but a bug Hinamori cared for.
Bending over the captain reached for her sandal, also thinking up just what to do when it came time for her to give up Naruto. She came to a reasonable conclusion, she would use Naruto to his fullest during the ten month period and when the time was up she would give him up like she agreed. At least this was the plan at the moment, if something changed in the ten months Soi Fon knew she would rethink the situation in its entirety.
Prying off her black slipper Soi Fon examined the innards, it seemed somewhat wet but otherwise normal, no arrancar within. Naturally the captain checked the next obvious place, her foot itself. Sure enough Naruto was then, squeezed and unconcious in the sole of her foot.
Hovering a finger over Naruto's mouth which pointed away from her foot Soi Fon felt the slightest breeze. He was breathing, he was okay. Although she would never admit it, Soi Fon was relieved Naruto was okay, and not just because she would retain a pet, she was actually happy Naruto as a person was okay; more out of her concern for Hinamori than actually caring though.
Lowering her bare foot against the wooden floor Soi Fon pondered what to do, it simply felt right having the arrancar beneath her sole, yet he was unconcious and did all Soi Fon asked to the end.
