Naruto yawned loudly. "Well now that I've had my hundredth near death experience for the day I think I could use a nap."
Unohana checked a clock in her room before answering, "You've been asleep for well over four hours and you want to sleep some more after only being concious for twenty minutes?"
The arrancar flashed a toothy grin, "Patients need rest!"
All Unohana did was shake her head with a smile, "True, Yoruichi should be in the Human World for a few days anyway so this is an ideal opportunity to rest."
"You make it sound like she's gonna torture me or something when she gets back." Naruto joked.
The gigantic captain nodded once, " She just may, Yoruichi is.....rough I suppose you could say. She means well but get on her bad side........" Unohana let her voice wander, furthering her point. The miniature arrancar saw what she meant but also knew that it could be applied to his latest caretaker too, get on Unohana's bad side and he would likely be tortured beyond belief. Just thinking about it gave Naruto goosebumps.
"So.....where can I sleep?" Naruto quickly asked, changing the topic.
"Hmm..." After thinking for a moment Unohana gestured to her bathrobe pocket, "You slept well in there before, I think it would suffice."
"What if you forget me again?"
Unohana smiled softly, "That would apply no matter where I kept you, my bathrobe pocket is much safer than other places I could keep you, like say....my cleavage."
Naruto turned blood red at the comparison but it made Unohana's point crystal clear, he nodded once. "Gotcha, but now I don't feel tired anymore."
"Perverted thoughts keeping you awake?"
Shaking his head wildly and in an overexaggerated manner Naruto shouted, "No way!"
"So I'm not pretty enough for them?"
"No uh.....you're gorgeous it's just...."
Giggling Unohana stroke a finger along Naruto's head, almost like she was petting him. "Relax, I am only playing around with you.
Calming down Naruto returned to his normal skin tone and demeanor, only sweating slightly now. "Not funny!"
"Perhaps a different sort of game then?"
Naruto stared into Unohana's large welcoming eyes....
