His teenage heart all aflutter Ichigo stared at his two giantesses of friends. Orihime being normal sized, Rukia basically being an amazon...which brought questions to mind. How was Rukia and Orihime able to shrink and grow things at will? Was that really a hollow Ichigo encountered earlier within Orihime? How did Rukia get bigger? How come his friends and him suddenly started blabbering about love like this? Those kind of questions made Ichigo wonder if another was behind all this....when you battle Hollows and monsters for a living anything is possible he supposed.
With Ichigo being somewhere between a centimeter and an inch tall both appeared absolutely massive...but with the amazing size also came magnified beauty. Ichigo never really looked at his friends in a romantic way, at least, not until he first shrunk and encountered Orihime. Something about being his size....it just seemed to make his friends appear beautiful all of a sudden. Before him the two girls were about to murder each other over some lovestruck catfight.
In the amazon-esque Rukia's grasp Orihime grabbed the hands clenched around her torso and eyed Rukia with determination. "You can't just storm in here and demand Ichigo to be your boyfriend Rukia!"
"And you can't act like you haven't forced him!"
"Then let him decide!"
Rukia released Orihime with a confident look in her face, "Fine, if you wanna be heartbroken go right ahead. Tell her Ichigo."
"Yeah, tell big foot here that you don't want her!"
Just my luck. Ichigo thought grimly.
Laughing nervously the shrunken Shinigami broke out into a sweat as the two giantesses stared intently at him. Whether it was a dream, some plot, or just plain bad luck Ichigo was in this situation he knew one thing, he absolutely did not want to piss off either Orihime or Rukia. In all honesty...he probably loved both of them, but...one of them was like a love for a friend, the other was true romantic love. When Ichigo really thought it over the choice seemed oddly obvious. "...Sorry Orihime...Rukia is the one for me.." Something about the fact Rukia was twice Orihime's height gave Ichigo confidence to say this with relative ease.
Orihime's eyes widened with shock before beginning to swell up with tears, her eyes a mixture of sadness and rage. "You're lying! You have to be! Is it because you saw that hollow-like thing? That wasn't real Ichigo! Please stay with me!" Ichigo was confused, he expected Orihime to be upset but...now she just didn't seem to make sense. What she was saying was contradictory and no explanation was offered....Ichigo didn't know how to reply.
So Rukia did that for him, with her height advantage Rukia easily picked up the redhead and held her over her shoulder, "Be right back Ichigo. Just taking out the trash." She tossed the diminuative Shinigami an obnoxious wink as she walked out of restaraunt, people who hadn't left yet cowering in fear. From the windows Ichigo could see Rukia putting Orihime down and saying something....apparently whatever it is worked because soon the giantess strode back in alone, this time making an effort to show off her enlarged body and its oddly unhinged clothing.
"So...Ichigo..." She started with a sly grin as she slid into the seat Orihime occupied before her, only to have it collapse beneath her bottom in seconds. "Urg, hold on." With an annoyed expression Rukia closed her eyes, clearly concentrating and before Ichigo's eyes...she reverted to normal!
Rukia took a deep breath after she reverted to normal height, quickly looking back and laughing once she saw Ichigo in slack jawed amazement. "Surprised?" She giggled, "I can control size via a special kido. I only learned it recently."
That made sense to Ichigo, even while in her Gigai (Which Rukia was) Rukia still had access to her Shinigami powers, kido could easily work for size adjustment in that case. But Orihime...how did she do it? That question really bugged him most of all, but for the moment his stoic moment was ended by Rukia excitedly picking him up.
"So Ichigo how about we go back to our place?" Rukia's face was unusually happy, like she just got a special Chappy Mod Soul accessory or something trivial like that. It kinda threw Ichigo off but he nodded, at the very least it would give the poor people of the restaraunt a break. So together with his new girlfriend Ichigo departed from the Sushi Restaraunt, oddly satisfied by the end result of the events that took place.
Still...the question bothered him nonetheless, how did Orihime alter size? Did someone intentionally do it or was it mere coincidence? Troubling...
