After you leave, you notice that there were three presences tailing you. You went down several streets to confirm your suspicion. Wondering why you were being followed, you decided to run and have them predictably take chase. Once you were a comfortable distance away from them, you phased into the ethereal plain to see what they do. You see them meet up where you vanished. Getting right behind them, undetectable from even the best of sensory types and trackers, to listen in on them.
"Where the heck did he go?! Akamaru and I lose his scent right here!" A brunette shinobi, with red face markings resembling large fangs. Of the others, he had the darkest complexion, really only a medium complexion.
"No idea. My insects aren't reporting any sign of him beyond this point...And the female insect I put on him just fell down...Like he was pulled out right from under her...Can you see anything, Hinata?" The other shinobi asked. This one with black hair, black round sunglasses and a jacket with a collar so big, it covered his lower face.
"I can't really explain it...One second he was here, and the next he vanished!...He only left a small cloud of chakra and footprints...I've never seen something like this before..." The kunoichi of the group said. She had dark blue hair, and lavender eyes that seemed to have no pupils.
"Why are you following me?" You asked through the plains.
"What the-"
"Where in the world...?"
"How are you doing this?"
"Hey! I'm the one with questions! Why are you following me?!" You again asked.
"We mean you no harm. We were asked to keep an eye on you from a friend of ours." The black haired ninja admitted.
"Wait...Does your friend have pink hair, green eyes, and a...petite female figure?" You asked.
"You mean small tits?" The brunette asked.
*SMACK!*
"OW! What the heck Shino?!" The brunette was smacked in the back of his head by the other boy.
"He was being polite, Kiba..." The black haired ninja scolded.
"Yes...Sakura wanted to make sure that you didn't skip town with her money..." The kunoichi you presumed to be named 'Hinata' explained.
"Geesh! I was literally on the way to the hospital to give her the money...No trust these days..." You said as you returned to the physical plain.
"How are you doing that?" Hinata asked.
"I can use my chakra to phase into the ethereal plain...Can't be seen, heard, smelled or felt in there...but I also can't interact with living beings in that form..." You briefly explained.
"There you three are, I've been looking all over for you!" A beautiful kunoichi with black hair and a red kimono arrived and said, presumably to the three Genin.
"Kurenai Sensei! We're sorry for avoiding you, but we were doing a favor for Sakura." Hinata explained.
"Well, the three of you should have let me know...I hope that you at least learned something from this..." Kurenai said.
"That you can't track everyone?" Kiba said.
"What are you talking about?"
"He's talking about..." You said as you returned to the ethereal plain. "Me!" You then returned to the physical realm. "Gotta go and deliver some dough..." You said as were leaving.
After arriving at the Konoha Hospital, you began asking around for Sakura Haruno and were pointed to her current section.
"Hey, Haruno! I need to have a word with you..." You said, feeling her chakra in the room before you entered it.
"Can we talk later, I have a patient who's suffering from acute internal bleeding and several broken bones...If I don't fix the bones, she can-" Sakura was explaining.
"Develop FES[Fat Embolism Syndrome], and if she keeps bleeding she can suffer from organ failures, get a coma or die...Focus on her bones, I'll stop the bleeding..." You said as you go to work using your Medical Ninjutsu to make healing chakra tendrils to safely bypass her body and repair her bruised and torn tissue, stopping the bleeding at their sources, while Sakura rebounded her bones to prevent the marrow from leaking fat into the bloodstream.
Several grueling minutes of operation...
"Alright, she's stablized...Her blood pressure is a little low, but not concerning at the moment..." Sakura said.
"What happened to her?" You asked.
"She lost her footing while practicing her running on rooftops...Took a nasty fall..." Sakura explained.
"That's an understatement..." You said back.
"Thanks for the help...I'm not sure how I'd stabilize her all alone...Now...What was it you wanted to talk about?" She asked.
"Why'd you send Genin to track me?" You asked bluntly.
"Oh...You mean Team 8...Right...Well, I sent them to track you and make sure that you didn't cheat me out of my money...because...I couldn't trust you..." Sakura said in shame.
You threw the sack of her earnings into her chest, which she caught. "And what about now?" You asked.
"Now...I see that I was wrong to distrust you...I guess it's hard for me to trust shinobi outsiders ever since the exams...I never really met a ninja outside the village that I trusted...At least, not right off the bat..." Sakura explained.
"Understandable, considering what happened...but the shinobi who orchestrated that whole Chunin Exams situation was from your village...He's a Missing-nin, but still..." You pointed out to her.
"You're even more right than you think...Wow! I've never actually gotten money back from loaning it to someone gambling...Is there anything that I could do to make it up to you?" She asks you.
"I'm sure I'll think of something...Oh...By the way, that Kiba guy said you had small tits...Just though you should know..." You said to her to let her know.
"He WHAT!?! Grrr! I'm gonna make that dog-faced asshole pay for that..." Sakura said as she stamped out of the room.
"Someone's going to the pound..." You said as you went to leave.
Not long after leaving you meet back up with your friends. Deciding to take a load off and freshen up, Kumiko suggested to head over to the Konoha Hot Springs to bathe off the grime accumulated from the few days without any bathing.
"So, how was the gambling?" Kenji asked you.
"Great as always...Got five times what I betted with...What have the two of you been up to?" You asked.
"We got some breakfast at a place Kumiko knew of...Then that one guy with the mask joined us reading a Make Out Innocence book...In public...With teenager's...How creepy..." Kenji said.
"Guy probably has no shame...What did you guys talk about?"
"At first, he was very interested in the mask that Kumiko was wearing...Guess he too likes hiding his face...So, we asked him a bit about his past...He said that he fought in the Third Great Shinobi World War when he was around our age...He lost both of his teammates to it...Later on, his Sensei became the Fourth Hokage, and assigned him into the Anbu Black Ops...He eventually said he was assigned to look after his Sensei's wife, because she was pregnant and had complications...Unfortunately, someone attacked the village and got them killed in the conflict...Fortunately, the Hokage's wife managed to give birth before she died...Later on he became an Anbu Captain for a while and retired to train his own team of Genin...Even training his Sensei's child...Then the Chunin Exams happened and then...His team slowly began to drift apart...To the point that one of them defected from the Hidden Leaf...Turns out that all his students are now being trained by a Sannin each..." Kenji explained.
"So that guy was Sakura's Sensei before Lady Hokage? This explains why she said her team was divided..." You figured.
"Yep! And the crazy thing about that guy is that he possesses a Sharingan" Kenji said.
"He has the Sharingan?" You asked.
"Yeah, but only one...His teammate from the war gave him it before he died..." Kenji said.
"Damn...After what happened to the Uchiha Clan, at least the Hidden Leaf has someone with the Sharingan...You think he knew Sensei in the Anbu?" You asked.
"Probably...but I didn't ask for Sensei's sake...So, anything happen while you were on your own?" Kenji asked.
"Get this...You know that Sakura girl?...She sent some of her friends to spy on me, make sure that I don't cheat her out of her money...One of them was a Hyūga...And she still didn't spot me in the Ethereal plain...Went through quite a bit of chakra hiding from them though..." You explained.
"A Hyūga? Byakugan and everything?" Kenji asked.
"Yep!...Just imagine if I hid with my Fairyfly Jutsu...They'd be shit out of luck..." You said.
"Can you explain to me why you made a Jutsu to become as small as the worlds smallest bug again? I get that you'll be a lot harder to spot and everything, but wouldn't you also be weaker and more vulnerable?" Kenji asked.
"Well I actually thought of that...I don't have to worry about durability because I'm an Āsenaru and I'm just about as hard to kill as you...Plus, my chakra still regenerates at the same rate, but at a much, much smaller vessel, and I can scale down my Jutsu to fit my size...I theoretically can't run out of chakra in that state...And I can preserve my strength in that size...At least I have a few times...Still a work in progress..." You admitted.
"PLEASE! At that size, a stinky fart would kill you...Chakra ain't gonna protect you from that...Besides, stealth is overrated...Especially when you're nigh indestructible and a walking tank..." Kenji said.
"Who got thrown by a bigger, stronger shinobi and handed you your ass...Meanwhile, I beat him at that size while you were out cold..." You pointed out.
"Oh yeah?! Why don't you put your Jutsu to the limit, huh?" Kenji asked.
How do you respond.
