"Aaagh!" You said, waking up to see Kumiko's foot in front of you.
"Finally, I've been trying to wake you up Sonny[Your nickname], we're here." Kumiko said as she pulled he forehead protector down and activated it, causing it to expand its fabric and wrap around Kumiko's face as a shroud and mask.
"Ugh, I had the most vivid and strangest...Dream?...Maybe a nightmare?..." You mumbled.
"Judging by the looks of you, it was probably a wet dream..." Kenji said as he pointed to your lower half.
"Huh?!" You said as you looked to see that you made a small, but noticeable mess in your pants. "Aw, man! And why are you kicking me in the face barefoot for, Kumiko?" You asked.
"Because you're sleeping on my shoe, Sonsho!" She said pointing to her shoe right where you laid your head before she snatched it up an put it on.
"Speaking of shoes, what happened to yours, Sonny?" Kenji asked.
"What do you mean 'What happened to my...My shoes!" You said, realizing that you were completely barefoot. "When did this happen?!" You pondered, and the only thing that came to mind was when you were stuck on that food pill and knocked out of them. You wondered...Did Kumiko eat them? "Kumiko...Did...Did you?..."
"I didn't do anything. You were the one to blow them up when you drop kicked Kasshoku with that explosive Jutsu." Kumiko explained.
"Ah, ugh...Oh, you're right..." You said, realizing that when you did the Explosive Drop Kick Jutsu, you forgot to imbue your chakra in your shoes so you could reassemble them.
"Damn it! I screwed up and blew up my shoes for good!" You said.
"Why don't you just take a pair off of a prisoner? While they're all still asleep." Kenji said.
"Hmmmmmm, that's a good idea Kenji...I think I will..." You said as you quietly walked among the snoozing Missing-nin, checking to see if anyone of them had shoes that would work for you. You finally found a pair from a Hidden Cloud Missing-nin and took them off carefully to repossess for yourself. "Fits like a glove..."
*TING!*
A barricade of ninja-to appear in front of you, waking up the Missing-nin in the process.
"Halt! Identify yourselves and state your business." A Hidden Leaf Anbu Captain asked as his subordinates surrounded yourself convoy.
"This how you greet all your outsiders from Hagakure? We were requested by your village officials to deliver this shipment of weapons and tools...You wanna keep them waiting?" You responded.
"So, you claim to be Shinobi from the Hidden Sheath Village...I trust you all have proof..." The captain remarked.
"Captain! We've got several Missing-nin in the back of the cart. They appear to be restrained, but I cannot confirm." An Anbu operative reported.
"Those people in the back, are they your prisoners, or pals?" The Captain asked accusingly.
"I'm not sure how you treat your 'pals' in the Hidden Leaf, Captain, but where we're from we don't chain up our own and send them to foriegn countries. These rogues attacked us on our way here. They were worth more alive than dead, so we're also here to claim the rewards on any of their bounties. Shinobi gotta eat." Kenji explained.
"I see...A bunch of Genin trying to make a name for yourselves delivering cargo and criminals without your Sensei's supervision...That's a serious offense punishable by excommunication from your 'Village' and would strip you of any of their diplomatic protections." The Captain continues to accuse.
"It would be...Except for the fact that the three of us are Chunin and therefore we can go on missions such as this without supervision...So find something else to entertain yourselves for the day..." Kumiko said.
"Got something to hide behind that mask, girl?" Another Anbu operative asked.
"I'm an Asylee of the Hidden Sheath Village...My birthplace is Konohagakure...I hide my face for my own protection..." She explained.
"Really now?...Well then, welcome home...Now who are you and your friends?" The Captain asked.
Kumiko pulled out the secret ID plate from the front of her forehead protector. You and Kenji did the same. After the Captain looked at your IDs he returned them and called for his team to make way.
"Didn't know you were actually from the Hidden Leaf Village, Kumiko..." You said.
"We figured that you and Sensei were from The Land of Fire, but we didn't expect you to be from the Hidden Leaf Village..." Kenji clarified.
"We all have our secrets...In time, I wish to tell you mine's and Sensei's." Kumiko said in a somber voice.
As you reach the gate, you were stopped by Jonin guards.
"Hold it right there. State your names and business." The Jonin said.
"Is this really necessary? Your own Anbu already vetted us." You brought up.
"That's standard procedure for all uninvited foriegn shinobi. Names and business please."
"Fine...Bureaucracy at it's finest...My name is Sonsho Kakushiha. Nephew of both the Sentokage and Bakikage of The Village Hidden in the Sheath, of the Land of Blades." You said as you gave your standard passport and secret ID.
"I'm Kenji Kōmyaku. Second son of Saisekiba Kōmyaku. Shinobi from the Hidden Sheath Village, of the Land of Blades." He said as he followed suit.
"I'm Kumiko Hokkyokusei. Adopted daughter of Jiwen Hokkyokusei. Hidden Sheath Asylee originating from the Hidden Leaf." Kumiko said as she too followed suit.
"Hidden Sheath Shinobi? You must be escorting our weapons supply...Who are the rest in the back?" The other Jonin said as he returned your credentials.
"Typical rogue ninja trying to rob us and your supplies...We'd kill them, but they have bounties we'd wish to collect." You explained.
"I see...I'll call for a detachment to detain them...You'd have to take it up with our Marshall for your rewards." He explained.
"Hang on...Almost forgot one of them..."Kumiko said as she took the small bottle from her flak jacket and smashed it on the ground. You then released the Jutsu on Kasshoku, returning him to his intimidating height.
"'Bout time you let me out of there...It was getting cramped..." Kasshoku said as he rubbed his neck.
"Holy crap! Is he-"
"No doubt about it, he's Kasshoku, The Savage Bear of the Earth!"
"Aah! Jonin!? For me?! You shouldn't have...I'm in a mood to let off some steam..."
"Don't move a muscle, you homicidal maniac. I have a hard time believing that you were captured by a bunch of Chunin, but seeing a menace like you helpless is a welcomed sight." The Anbu Captain said as his blade was drawn to Kasshoku's jugular and the other Anbu surrounded him.
"Anbu?...Even better...I'll use these shackles to maim and strangle you all...and add your masks to my collection...I hear quivering..."
An Anbu operative was shaken at the sight of Kasshoku's cloak of victims.
"You!...You killed her...You killed my sister!..." The operative said as he clenched his weapon with anger.
"If you know anything about me, I did so much worse than kill her..." Kasshoku alluded.
"You son of a-" The agent said with his blade drawn, only for his fellow Shinobi to stop him.
"Stand down! Death is too good for scum like him. He deserves to rot in chains for the rest of his life." The Anbu Captain ordered. The agent reluctantly agreed. "Let's send them to the lockup...We need to notify the other major four nations. With him locked up, many Shinobi can sleep at ease." The Captain continues.
"Except for the kunoichi..." Kasshoku said with a sinister smile.
*THWACK!*
"Get moving, hog!" A female Anbu operative commanded as she kicked Kasshoku.
"He-hey! I'm not use to kunoichi being the aggressor...Usually, it's the other way around...And I can get quite aggressive..." He said, followed by blowing a kiss to the female Anbu operative.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH!" The Missing-nin cried out in pain as his chakra chains used his own chakra to stimulate his pain receptors by the command of the shackles Warden Key[Basically, the master key that not only operates the locks, but can control the prisoners through using their own chakra against them], wielded by Kumiko.
"Less talking and more walking...Captain, I believe that you will need this..." Kumiko said as she offers the Warden Key to the Anbu Captain.
"Much obliged...All of you...Let's move." The Captain said as his team surrounded Kasshoku and the other Missing-nin. You and the rest of your team followed.
You were halfway through the village. Having glares and hollers heading your direction. At one point, you see debris heading towards the Missing-nin in front of you.
Another run in with a fan favorite?
