As the smart ninja he was, Shikamaru knew when a situation was hopeless.
With his shrunken state and his body trapped between the two smelly feet of a competent ninja like Temari surrender seemed like the only viable alternative. At his size his skills were probably useless even against non ninjas, and due to the nature of Temari's attack it was likely that he would be either killed or never restored back. He didn't know what kind of jutsu could shrink an opponent, and he didn't know anyone in the village who could restore him back. If this was a genjutsu it was an excellent one, so the only idea on his mind was to play along and cause himself some physical pain to break from the possible illusion.
Sighing with frustration, he decided to try and appease the giant Temari, just in case this was real and this beautiful but crazy girl had more plans in store with him. If that was the case scoring some points with her would allow him the freedom to escape later or a chance to persuade her to stop this nonsense. Enduring the smell of Temari's sweat he breathed deeply and started to lick the surface of the feet trapping him deliberately, not with timid licks but going as far as he could, using all his willpower to not show how awful this was.
The initial part of his plan worked, and Temari released him from the surprise. He looked up and saw her shocked face, feeling himself a strange mix of pride, awe and intimidation at being able to surprise such a powerful being.
Temari, still showing a surprised expression decided to keep testing the tiny ninja, her mind wondering what was that all about. She didn't think he would go to such lengths to earn her trust so early, so what was it about? Did he like feet? Did he like her? She tentatively and slowly set her feet again near Shikamaru, with her soles facing him.
The tiny genius didn't hesitate and went back to express his "love" on the lower part of the soles he could actually reach. In his mind he was playing it safe, knowing from previous experience this girl had quite a temper and could be both a formidable opponent and annoyance at normal size. He also wondered why Temari had decided to shrink him and, as he noticed how her soles despite the smell were softer than he expected from a shinobi and as he instinctively attacked with more energy a part that felt particularly rough, if maybe he was overdoing it. He wondered if he was that afraid of Temari after seeing what she was capable of, or if he was curious about the potential of the jutsu she used on him, or maybe he actually liked this? all he knew was that while he was free he was too stunned looking up at Temari's cute surprised face instead of having made up an escape plan when he had the opportunity
As Shikamaru continued, Temari felt the need to lay down in the beet and organize her thoughts too, she certainly didn't expect Shikamaru to be this willing. But she could always think what to do while she felt the little chills on her sole from his tongue ministrations, and the big chills on her spine from what she could do with his dilligent attitude
