Caught in the Lie

Stepping into the living room of Orihime's house Rukia sat herself down on a comfy couch that sat in the corner. Matsumoto was nowhere is sight but the sound of running water told Rukia that she was taking a bath. Noting the perfect opportunity to get comfortable Rukia stretched her legs out to their fullest on the couch, rested her head on one of the cushions, and placed Naruto on top of her stomach.
Naruto let out a happy sigh, Rukia was no longer suspicious, Matsumoto would be preoccupied for at least an hour due to her bath, he was finally getting a chance to rest up. Rukia's light breathing slightly elevated and lowered the clothed uniform he stood on but for a ninja this was nothing to fret over or even register as a minor annoyance. The only thing that could have interrupted this serene peace was a specific question, and of course Rukia asked this question.
"Why don't you tell me a little about yourself Kutsuu?"
For a second Naruto felt himself break in two, he may have been a ninja but lying wasn't exactly his forte. Vaguely he recalled lessons where he was instructed on the process, more or less they entailed either creating a new profile entirely or mixing together the lie with reality to help make things easier. Being dimwitted Naruto couldn't do the first in his dreams, and the second while easier was still gonna be tough.
"Well......uh....." Naruto nervously rubbed the back of his head, he could feel Rukia's eyes glaring into him. "My name's Kutsuu....which you already know. I come from a town called Konoha."
"Konoha? Doesn't that mean leaf?" Rukia asked quizzically.
Starting to piece together his story Naruto quickly answered, "Yep! All of us are the same size so the village is on a giant leaf!"
Hearing the exclamation Rukia couldn't help but burst out laughing, it took tremendous self control on her part to stop herself from turning over but she did it. " A village of little people.....on a leaf?!"
Naruto nodded once, chuckling a little bit himself. "Yeah. My best friends are named Sakura and Sasuke. Sasuke is this cool-acting tough guy who's always good at everything but he's just a punk."
"Sounds like someone's J E A L O U S" Rukia playfully spelled out her last word, using finger motions to the beat of her voice.
Turning slightly red Naruto turned around, pointing his back to Rukia. "Am not! Anyway Sakura is an absolute babe. I kinda have a thing for her but she only has eyes for Sasuke."
"Yep you're jealous."
Turning around Naruto turned redder, "Am not!"
Laughing Rukia smiled gently, "Sorry, continue.
"Um......" Naruto thought for a moment, he didn't want to reveal too much about his friends, nor his village or what he does. " I....run around doing odd jobs with my two best friends and a nice guy named Kakashi." Inside Naruto was laughing, his story was coming along so well and half of it was true!
Rukia nodded once, "What kind of jobs?"
Naruto struck a heroic pose, his ego grabbed the better of him as he spoke. "Oh tons of stuff! There was this one time we were bodyguards to a bridge builder and ended up fighting this bad guy named Zabuza. One time we had to protect a town. Find a cat. Heh....yeah being a ninja is pretty cool eh?"
A silence hung in the air, Naruto quickly realized what he had said but it was too late to take it back. Rukia's suspicons returned immediately. "Ninja? Protect a bridge builder? Sounds to me like these aren't the things a guy a centimeter tall would do. Ninja maybe but bridge builder? What would be the point when chances are it would get wrecked by someone passing by?"
Naruto had no reply, he had effectively screwed himself over.
Rukia leaned her head forward, careful not to knock Naruto from her stomach. "You know what? I think you're lying. And remember what I said I'd do if you lie?"
Naruto shivered, the idea of an evil giantess harem while very very hot was not what he wanted.
Rukia sighed.....
