Suddenly before either girl could react a black crow descended and nabbed Naruto in it's clawed feet.
"What the hell?"
"Naruto!"
"Sakura, Tatuya...GET ME DOWN FROM HERE!" yelled the blonde as the bird ascended higher and higher into the heavens.
The girls exchanged a look with one another before wasting no more time in chasing after the feathered thief.
"Son of a..." growled Tayuya, Naruto's kidnapper should could fly and it was quickly extending it's lead on the two shinobi. The redhead was just about to pull out her flute when Sakura caught on and ordered her to decease.
"What? Why!" the near-fuming ninja argued a glare shot straight at Sakura. The younger pink-haired girl ignored it and explained that if her summons ravaged the town Tayuya would be in serious hot water. Remembering the restriction placed upon her Tayuya cursed rather loudly and rather recklessly. Sakura sighed with a smile even though Tayuya had "educated" her on a few new cusses (were those even real words, she wondered) at least the redhead had gotten the message and used a little self-control.
Sakura herself had been ready to toss a kunai at the bird in hopes of scaring it but the problem with that mostly came with the obvious of either striking Naruto or fatally hitting the crow causing them both to fall to the ground before either girl could get to them in time.
In any case the bird was still ahead of them and they were running out of options to stopping it from having Naruto as a snack.
