Once he heard the softly snoring sounds from the giant Hinata, Naruto finally could stop using his chakra and stop sticking himself from her big toe, as he thought about what he just experienced and what he was supposed to do now
He sat down on the couch with his body resting against Hinata's huge sole to rest a bit too, enjoying the somehow smooth skin she had for a hardworking kunoichi like her and finding out he didn't really mind the smell after spending so long attached to her big toe and even rubbing it in the process. On the surface it was like he would expect any foot to smell, but once he got acquainted with it he found it somewhat calming and even alluring
As he looked up at Hinata's towering foot and saw the outline of her toes he knew he needed a better way to get his attention though. He though of all people in the village the girl with the Byakugan eyes would be able to easily distinguish him even at one inch tall, but apparently she thought orange bugs that attached to your feet were a thing.. Naruto chuckled a bit, she knew Hinata was nice but was sure she had some weird quirks! unfortunately this particular one worked fully against him. He still was glad it was Hinata and not someone more impulsive who could have just stomped him after he attacked, but he knew he wouldn't last long if he kept going as a "foot bug".
A simple walk home took quite a bit of energy from him, it wasn't just using chakra to stick to the surface like he knew he could do to stand on water, the "surface" kept moving with a strength he was utterly unable to resist, swinging pretty up and down pretty much every second with an impulse that could have easily sent him flying. He didn't know what to compare the sensation against, maybe like swinging through vines on a forest, except you have no control at all and the vine just moves with you however it wants. Naruto shuddered thinking about having to hold and maybe rub Hinata's toe during typical kunoichi scenarios, a training session or a mission.. He doubt he would last.
Thinking, he came up with a couple ideas to catch Hinata's attention. He knew another Rasengan was out of the question, he feared the possibility of Hinata getting mad at her "bug" and stomping him or discarding him on an hostile environment. He thought he could take advantage that she was sleep and travel through her body to her face so she could see him better. He also thought about waiting for her to be awake and then when she was looking using his trademark jutsu to create shadow clones to convince her he was no bug... But what if she was that crazy and still believed he was one? he could always try to escape, maybe he would have better luck with someone else.
