Minato was not having a good day, what was supposed to be an average training session had turned into a complete disaster. He was currently out in the training grounds working on his sealing techniques when all of a sudden he felt light-headed.

Looking down at the seal he'd drawn he realized that he'd made a critical error. The characters were all wrong. He quickly tried to undo his mistake, but the damage had already been done. The world around Minato began to spin, it reminded him of the time he first time he used the Flying Raijin Jutstu.

The blonde Jounin felt like he was going to vomit. Maybe he shouldn't have tried to work on a new technique without Kushina present? She had told him in the past if he was going to work on his Fuinjutst he should do it when she's around.

Unfortunately for Minato she was at home. He tried to flash home with his signature technique, but found himself unable to do so. He was far too disoriented to use any jutsu. The spikey-haired blonde fell to he knees and his vision began to grow dark.

He tried again to do something, anything, but it was all for naught. Minato finally hit the ground, unconscious.

Seconds turned to minutes, and minutes turned to hours. It was then that Minato finally came to. His pushed himself up off the ground and clutched his head in pain. "Ugh! What happened to me?"

Looking around he noticed he appeared to be in some sort of tall forest. It didn't look any forest he knew? Was he still even in the Hidden Leaf? He wracked his brain trying to remember until the events previous struck him. He'd blacked out when working on a sealing technique.

He steadily rose to his feet to try and use his jutstu, but was interrupted by what felt like a massive earthquake. The tremor was so powerful that it sent the confused shinobi tumbling down. At first he thought he might be under attack, but that theory soon died when craned his neck upwards.

His eyes widened in shock. Everything seemed to become clear now. He hadn't gone anywhere, he was still in the training grounds. A much larger training ground. His failed seal had shrunken him.
