Everything was hazy for the young Rogue Ninja Itachi Uchiha. Together with Kisame and Konan his fellow Akatsuki members Itachi followed through on an order from Tobi and traced a lead they grasped on Sasuke, Itachi's brother who just killed Orochimaru.
The lead was an escaped experiment of Orochimaru's, near crazed from the horrific things he had seen. He was currently against a cliff as the three Akatsuki cornered him.
"Lemme just slice him up, he'll talk then." Kisame muttered with a grin, reaching for the hilt of his Samehada.
"No, I can handle this." Itachi knelt down on a knee and stared at the mans eyes. Briefly Itachi closed his eyes and focused his chakra, "Tsukiyomi!" He muttered as he cast the power of his Sharingan. Things went as they always did when Itachi used this, the world became twisted, deformed, time held no meaning.
Itachi often used this to break people he needed information from, and this was no exception. He quickly got the information he needed but before he dispelled his technique the man started laughing.
"You think all is well traitorous Uchiha, but you shall see.....the experiments affected me deeply and with my last breath I shall use an ability given to me via them. The man made a handsign and against Itachi's will the illusion he held shattered, the man and everything around him vanished. He was in an entirely new location.
Itachi quickly searched for his comrades, soon realizing he had some how shrunken, but before he could question it he found someone, a giant in his perspective, and not just any but one he knew.........
