Cheating Death

I was walking ahead without knowing what was going on behind me but before I could react, the sound of a gun shoot echoed throughout the area. I looked back and saw that Ashei with a gun in hand aiming towards me with a creepy grin on her face. "Sorry...my hand slipped...I didn't mean it?" she said as I noticed something warm was running my chest.
I looked down and saw the hole where the bullet left. Feeling light headed, I looked at her and said, "You...you bitch" With that I passed out. It was only a few minutes but to me it felt like hours since the darkness swollow me. Once again I saw the same light as last time and once again, before I had the chance to reach for it.
I felt a sharp sting on my left cheek and on the other. Each passing moment, the stinging was getting more and more painful till all of a sudden I opened my eyes. I shot up with a deep gasp of air and shouted, "The FUCK!" I looked up and saw Ashie on her kneels looking at me with a very creepy smile.
"I never get tired of that" she said as she stood up. "Wha...why the fuck did you shot me for?" I shouted as I stood up. "I said I didn't mean it, the trigger went off" she answered as she carried on walking. "Went off, didn't mean it? I saw that look on your face" I snapped as I chased after her. "Oh hush now...I swair that it will be the last time I have the gun out" said Ashei as she held her hands up.
"Okay then" I said as I looked down at the floor taking a deep breath. Ashei looked at me as if she loved the sight of me now even more smaller. Dammit, what it lately. Ever since mom sent me outside I became a magnet to anything that ends up with me dying and of course getting smaller. I was getting sick of it.
Seeing as how I lost six inches before the second shot, I fear as to how small I have become. Looking up at Ashei, I could tell that it is a lot as to when I first saw her today it was just the bottom of her chin and now it's just a few inches below that! I just hope that nothing bad happen to me when we enter her house which I could see is just a few feet away from us.
As Ashei stood up towards the front door and unlocked it so the that the two of us would enter. "Mom I'm home!" shouted Ashei as she dropped her bag onto the hallway. As I walked in, hoping for a reply but to horror, it was silent. Alone within the house with the girl that have just shot me in twice with only a few minutes ago.
I don't really have to say it, I felt really sick, so sick that I couldn't even stand up any more. "Hay are you all right?" asked Ashei as she was trying to sound worried but deep down I knew she wasn't. "I'm fine...I'm fine, just need to sit down" I answered as she lead me to the living room. As I crashed onto a sofa, Ashei left to get me something to drink.
When she came back she held a glasses with what I could tell as it being water, as I took the glass from her to began to drink it. As I was drinking, I couldn't help but noticed the way Ashei was looking at me. It was making me feel worried. As I finished drinking, Ashei took the glass away and left to the kitchen.
As I sat there, I couldn't help but noticed that the water I just drank tasted different somehow...with this my mind was beginning to panic as I have no idea what is to come, did she just gave me normal water or did she put something in it...
