"This will be awesomeeee! I can't wait to see it all" Ruby gushed at the entrance of the new Zoo that recently opened in Vale and while her teammates weren't so effusive about it they definitely shared her enthusiasm, smiles in their faces in a sunny day that promised to deliver tons of entertainment for team RWBY.
"Where should we go first?" Weiss asked after retrieving a huge map showing each of the sections of the zoo and seemingly had every single non Grimm species to be found in Remnant. Ruby, Yang and Blake scanned the map along with Weiss understanding it would be impossible to see it all in a single day.
"Definitely the aviary!"
"The aquarium first!"
"I want to see the reptiles!"
"The penguins! I haven't seen one since I left Atlas"
"Let's look at these guys, they are huge!"
Ruby, Yang and Weiss kept throwing ideas and trying to convince each other in the process, while Blake was just captivated with the feline zone. If the other girls were paying close attention they could have seen her bow moving as if it had a life of its own.
It didn't take long for things to escalate into a fight that took Blake out of her trance, looking unimpressed at the ruckus caused by her friends.
"I'm the team leader, it should be my decision where to go!"
"That's not being a leader, that's being a tyrant!"
"You got to choose the restaurant last time, your vote is null"
...
"Uh.. girls?" Blake tried to no avail as they kept fighting
"Those things are hideous, they're basically grimms!"
"If you want to see penguins just go back to your home!"
"How dare you?"
...
"STOP!" Blake finally had to shout to stop the fight and the other members of team RWBY looked at each other embarrassed.
"We're just wasting time here and it's clear each one of us wants to see a different part of the zoo, so why not split up?" Blake offered
"Blake's right, the more time we spend deciding is less time to watch the animals" Weiss conceded and Yang silently agreed with a nod.
"Alright then, let's split up and meet up here in the entrance after 3 hours to have lunch.. sounds right?" Ruby asked and after everyone agreed, each huntress took a separate way.
