Tom woke up and saw Maxine leaving, running away from the camp.
Tom: Lyra, Lyra wake up, I think we got a problem here.
Lyra: What? What is it Tom?
Tom: Its Maxine, she just walked off!
Lyra: What?
Tom: Come on!
They both left the camp as well and looked around and saw Maxine running into the hallway.
Tom: We must follow her!
Lyra: Yeah, I don't know whats gotten into her!
The 2 followed Maxine, but Maxine was quick and already ran far in front.
She climbed up the stairs like crazy and made it to the upper floor and headed into Julia's room.
Lyra and Tom we're far behind but they too made it to the 2nd floor and crawled under Julia's door.
Tom: Where is she?
Lyra: Oh my god! There!
She was climbing up Julia's bed and the situation became terrible.
Luckily Maxine was getting tired and this gave Lyra and Tom a chance to get closer to her.
But when Maxine turned and saw the little Tom and Lyra running towards her, she immediately crawled under Julia's sheets.

She pulled as hard as she could to open the lips of Julia, and then finally it opened.

Tom: Thats it...there is nothing we can do now.

But then she swallowed and little Maxine slid down her throat.
Tom and Lyra could see her go down.
Tom: There she goes...well, that's that than.
Lyra: What? That's it?
Tom: Well its only Maxine, it could have gone worse, nobody will miss her, she was annoying as hell when I was a larger person.
Lyra: Well thats true...I guess we should be returning to camp.
After some time Lyra and Tom made it back to camp and found the rest of the group awakened.
Kelly: Well, where have you too been?
Lyra: We tried to save Maxine...
Michelle: Did she leave?
Lyra: She killed herself, by dropping herself into Julia's mouth and let herself get swallowed alive.
Kelly: Swee...I mean, thats too bad...
Lyra: I know you don't care, don't worry, your not the only one.
Suddenly they heard noises coming from above, and Julia seemed excited about something.
They then heard them coming downstairs and the gigantic couple entered the living room.
David: Sweetie, I got a surprise for you.
Julia: Oh what is it?
David: Its right here in this envelop.
Julia opened the envelop and read what was in the letter.
She smiled and gave David a big kiss on his lips.
Julia: I'm so happy! 4 days in New Orleans! When do we leave?
David: In about 2 hours.
Julia: Well lets get packed then!
Both Julia and David headed upstairs and started packing their stuff.
Michelle: Sounds like fun.
Tom: Well yeah, this gives us a little holiday as well, and gives us time to work on our camp a bit more, expanding and that sort of things.
Michelle: You know, a small little vacation, might not be a bad idea after all! lets relax girls!
And so both Julia and David, and the little survivors decided it was a great time for a holiday break.
