Now that she had access to Blake's shrinking spell, Claire could not get the thought of eating more tiny guys out of her head. It didn't help that her stomach began to growl as well. Blake had heard - and felt - this happen earlier in the day shortly before Claire's lunch break. That time, his first thought was that there was an earthquake. Even though he knew better now, he believed that the comparison still fit.
"Ooh, my belly's rumbling again," Claire noted playfully as she gave her rumbling belly a rub to try to soothe it. Not that it would do much. "Mmm, I wonder how many delicious boys I can eat. Your friends are cool with being my food, right?" She felt Blake kicking beneath her hand for a moment before her stomach roared with hunger again. "Well, I guess we're off to the university to find out!" With that, she headed out and began her walk to the university, still wearing her sports bra and yoga pants. It was a warm evening, so she didn't feel the need to put on a jacket.
Of course, Blake tried to get his mother to snap out of it, but she didn't appear to be paying any attention to his words. Claire's belly rumbling often drowned out his voice anyway and threw off his focus anyway. Unfortunately, she was dead set on filling up her hungry belly with his friends, and there was nothing he could do to stop her.
In addition to the sounds of her belly, Blake had to deal with all the motion from Claire walking. Normally it wouldn't have been too bad, but this time she was swinging her hips more than normal with every step. In fact, it felt a lot like when she swayed them earlier just before taking some of his memories. Was she trying to absorb even more from him? The ones she already had were bad enough!
It wasn't long before Blake felt some more of his memories disappear, but which ones? Frantically, he tried to think of what it could be. He knew that Claire was planning to eat his friends, so maybe she was trying to get some information about them. He tried to recall what he knew about them, which was difficult when his mom's belly kept rumbling away with no consideration for his feelings. Every growl and roar from the stomach that made his body and his whole world tremble forced him to think only about how hungry the giantess was. If Blake didn't know better, he'd swear that Claire's belly was trying to convince him to approve of her decision to eat his friends!
As Claire arrived at the university campus, Blake found that he couldn't remember much about his friends. He could remember their interests and what they were studying, but a lot of information just wasn't coming to him. He couldn't even tell how much was from Claire absorbing more of his memories and how much was from being constantly distracted by her rumbling belly. Still, he couldn't recall their names, or what they looked like, or what they were doing tonight.
And then it hit him. That was the stuff Claire needed to be able to find them! Blake felt a chill run through his body as his mother strode confidently across the campus. If she hadn't been able to extract that information, there might have been some hope that she would have given up and gone back home. But now? The hungry woman with a craving for cute guys knew just where to find them.
Where was Claire going exactly?
