With nothing in his immediate vicinity but flab and abdominal tissue, Blake kept flailing and swaying within the hold. He panted, but the air was warm and stale - not much for a small fatty cell to live on, much less keep a straight head. (Though he had a hard time feeling his head at the moment.) He used what was left of his arms to batter left and right on the impenetrable, yet malleable, wall ahead of him, striking again and again.

Claire finally tapped at it. "Stop already. I'll just do the usual, and then..."

Suddenly, the entire realm shook, interrupting her words. He felt his fleshy confines facing the ceiling, pointing up at the bright lights. It stretched him to impossible, painful scales; making him groan at the agonizing sensation. It seemed she was leaning over... And shimmying.

And then swaying her hips in a circle. Each hip led to a new pain in a new location on his speck-scale, lumpy body, still sealed by the ring around him. "Ow! Ow, ourgh - mmphh..."

Claire huffed. "Really, I'm doing the hard work belly dancing..."

She shimmied while squatting, making him emit a loose, frail whine.

"...And you're the one complaining. It doesn't seem right."

A hip drop silenced any more of his complaints, painfully jabbing him with each twist.

As Claire began forming a figure-eight with her arms and waist, the burning was harder and harder to ignore. Cinders lapping up at his very form, loosely dancing across his arm and kissing the rest of his goosebump. It hurt so much, he couldn't help but flail it again and again, trying to whack the wall of moving muscular buildup...

...Until it was no longer there. He remained still, awestruck. He couldn't feel anything.

"Mmm!" He wailed. He couldn't feel his right arm.

She sighed, which itself made an unpleasant sensation dance up his form, tingling within him. "Are you really doing this, Blake? You're already a lump. Things can't get any worse."

And yet, they kept getting worse. The searing, tortuous pain ascended up his arm as Claire performed in-and-out undulations. The ominous stomach was blurring his senses. The entire limb, up to the shoulderblade, was aching - and then gone, nothing left but emptiness, even phantom pains eaten away.

He tried to remember what his mother's exercise routine was like from this, and whether it could possibly end anytime soon. Or else, like a flame eating at wax, the rest of his biomass may just shrink away, the stored fatty fuel used up for a simple dancing exercise - with her barely caring at all for the loss within...

"Blake." She suddenly paused. Coolness washed over him. "Is that lump on my tummy... shrinking?"
