Blake tried to get rid of the uncertainty that plagued him by shaking his head vigorously. For whatever reason, Nora was giving him an opportunity to tell her the truth - probably the only opportunity he would get.
"Nora Comet," Blake confessed, "I ... I'm in love with you."
Nora's jaw froze mid-chomp upon hearing those words. She may have teased Blake in the past about him being her secret admirer, but she didn't think he genuinely was!
"I think you're an amazing girl," Blake continued, not wanting to waste any time. "You're strong and tough and confident ... all things I wish I could be. That's why I've been learning to do magic all this time. And today, I cast a spell that let me make a deal with some magical spirits. They told me they'd make me strong and tough, but at the cost of my size. But I thought ... maybe you'd like me if I were strong and tough like you."
Blake started to blush again as his composure began to falter. Nora's expression was unreadable, which unnerved him even more. Still, he had to get through his confession - every last bit.
"You ... you look amazing too," Blake stammered. "And ... well ... your belly ... you have a nice belly. I ... it looks nice ... feels nice ... sounds nice ..." The tiny mage looked down at his feet as he trailed off, feeling too flushed to continue speaking. Still, he had said what he needed to, even if he was a bit imprecise about his exact feelings about Nora's belly.
It wasn't until Nora picked Blake up again that he could bring himself to look at her again. The giant bully's face still didn't give him any hint of what she was thinking. However, Blake inwardly admitted that he expected Nora to reject him cruelly. She had done nothing but torment and insult him before; why would that change now?
"That took a lot of guts, pipsqueak," Nora said flatly, the gummy man she had been chewing still in her mouth. "And magic? For real?" As she swallowed her food, Blake noticed a twinkle in her eye. Could this be a sign that Nora was taking a liking to him?
"Y-yeah," Blake replied nervously. "So ... does that mean I'm cool now?" His pathetic question made him cringe and Nora chuckle.
"Alright, since you've been honest with me, I'll be honest with you." Nora's tone lightened a little, though this did nothing to make Blake feel any more at ease. "There's this ... fantasy I've had for a while now. Something I never thought I'd get to do for real. But ... well, if you can do magic ..."
Blake's heart began racing as he understood what Nora was implying. If he could make her happy in a way nobody else could, she'd stop seeing him as just some scrawny little nerd to torment and would accept him as her boyfriend! All that studying was paying off!
"Plus," Nora added with a cheeky grin, "you said you like my belly, right?" She then stood up and put Blake back down on her desk, causing him to be level with her pudgy belly. "Well, this fantasy does involve my belly." To emphasise her point, she gave her gurgling belly a couple of pats that jostled her belly fat. As Blake was captivated by the sight, he began imagining the possible belly-related fantasies that Nora might want him to help fulfil.
"Alright, so what's the fantasy?" Blake asked eagerly. He heard Nora giggle above him before she told him just what her fantasy was.
