A couple of centuries ago, a young man named Blake made his way in life by trying to solve crimes that the police simply wouldn't. Sometimes they might be completely baffled by the crime, but usually they were too busy trying to break up a brawl at the local pub or catch grimy street urchins who pickpocketed the wealthy. Yes, there was a foul stench in the air in this town, and it wasn't just from the fish.

This evening, the case Blake was working on centered around the theft of a valuable painting and the kidnapping of an artist. Though he wasn't sure what the perpetrator's nefarious purpose was, he had figured out that one of the mastermind's associates was a fisherman who frequented this pub after work. So the young detective had disguised himself as a sailor and was sat at a table nursing a pint of ale, trying to fit in while keeping an eye out for his target. He hoped that this unsavoury character could lead him to whoever was behind all of this.

What Blake didn't anticipate, however, was that the barmaid had spiked his drink with a shrinking potion. After one more fateful sip of ale, he began to feel dizzy, and soon he was slumped over the table. He awoke a few moments later only to find that he was now on the table and everything and everyone around him was huge! Of course, he deduced that he had been shrunk, but that didn't make his predicament any easier. Though he may have been harder to spot at this size, he had little hope of even getting off of this table without help! Plus, with how rowdy the other patrons were, getting their attention would be almost impossible.

While Blake tried to take in what was happening around him and perhaps identify exactly who was responsible for his new small stature, he suddenly noticed a huge shadow being cast over his table. When he looked behind him, someone was now sitting exactly where he had been before getting shrunk. But who was it?
