It was a peaceful, clear summer day in New Opal. While most people around Blake Heart’s age were enjoying the outdoor weather, he was chilling in his room and playing Super Mario 64. Not the original game, mind you, but a ROM hack that boasted improved graphics, an original story, and a bunch of new levels. Just as Blake grabbed a power star that needed incredible platforming skills to reach, a sudden jolt of magical energy leaked out of his spellbook, zapping the mage in his back and leading to a rather painful blackout.

When Blake regained consciousness, he opened his eyes to find himself in a room that looked nothing like his bedroom. But there was something familiar about how it looked. The red carpet, the painted brick walls, and the stained glass windows with Princess Peach's image on them could only mean one thing.

"Oh dear god," Blake said as it dawned on him where he was. "I've been teleported into the game and I'm in Princess Peach's room!" But that wasn't all. As he continued to look around, he noticed that everything in the room from the dresser to the bed was gigantic. "And I've been shrunk too!?"

Just as Blake was about to curse his rotten luck, he was distracted by something moaning and stirring on the bed. As the duvet fell away, he realised that this was Princess Peach waking up! The dazed princess slowly rose to her feet and stretched, unaware that she was giving a tiny person a good view of her in her pink nightie. For a moment, Blake couldn't help but admire the giant princess' beauty, even though she had just woken up.

And then Princess Peach started walking towards him.

"Crap!" Blake yelled now that the chance to curse his luck had come up. He had to decide quickly whether to get Peach's attention or try to stay unnoticed. On the one hand, if he was to ever make it back home, he needed all the help he could get. On the other hand, would the half-asleep princess even spot him, let alone recognise him as a tiny person? And what would she think of him seeing her in her nightie? And then there was the question of whether or not this being a hacked version of the game affected Peach in any way. Blake hadn't seen anything out of the ordinary with her while playing the game, but he couldn't rule out the possibility.

As Peach's bare feet took her closer to Blake's location, the tiny mage realised that he had spent too much time thinking and not enough time either running or yelling. All he could do was watch her foot rise and pray that he didn't get squished under it.
