"...Hmm... Well, I did pick this shark girl from the list."
"Ah, Miss Takea? Great choice!" The voice on the intercom said in the same jovial tone of voice. "She's a bit of a jock, but once you spend enough time with her she should open up to you."
You took another look at her, focusing on her grin with all her razor-sharp teeth... "She's... not going to devour me, is she?"
"She might! But if you do end up digesting, you'll revive safe and sound within the Anthro Zoo's on-site medical facility."
"...Hang on, but you said—"
"Yes, well, some people find that they can't handle the process of being melted down and brought back to life, and summarily leave the zoo grounds prematurely out of shock. Others decide they'd much rather keep on living as sentient fat on their chosen animal."
"I... see."
"Don't worry, don't worry! We've made sure all the anthros here will treat you with the respect you deserve. She'll be up shortly," the voice reassured, before the intercom clicked off.
Thankfully, you didn't have to wait long, and booth opened up, revealing a anthro shark who was twice your height, if not three times. She was dressed in a blue uniform, a t-shirt and shorts, with the logo for the zoo on her shirt opposite the nametag. There was a a clear midriff in her outfit, showing off some impressive abs that seemed to glisten in the sunlight—oil? Or maybe it's some kind of sunscreen that helps aquatic anthros handle being above water for extended periods. As you pondered that, your eyes began tracing across her figure, taking note of how muscular she was alongside the size of her thighs and hips. She must work out at the zoo's gym... She quickly glanced down at you, crouching down with a hand extended. "Heh, so you're the fresh meat, huh? Nice to meetcha, the name's Takea, I'll be your tour guide today."
"Uh, th-thanks, nice to meet you." You took her hand, and she shook it quite vigorously, making you fear for a few moments that she'd dislocate your shoulder. Thankfully, it's in one piace—albeit a bit sore. "Y-you're... quite big."
"Hah! Thanks. It's all-natural, you know. 2-hour workouts, 5 times a week, for the past... I dunno, 3-ish years? Helps me a lot in volleyball."
"Volleyball? There's sports here?"
"Of course! Nothing wrong with a little sports to keep us vigorous. I'm one of the top players of the aquatic exhibit's volleyball team, and of the swim team, though you'd be surprised how well the other types of animals do in the water sports. Heh, I swear, Leon's a sport fish who was born as a lion... I can let you sit in on some of our training, if you wanna! Maybe you'll get to feel us up more than you're doing now~"
"Huh? O-oh." You quickly pulled your hands away—while you were focused on Takea's words, they had moved to rest on her breasts, giving you a good feel for how soft yet firm they were. "S-sorry about that."
Fortunately, the shark's boisterous laugh assured you there were no hard feelings. "Don't be, squirt! Okay, let's get this tour started... right here! This... Is the Tour Guide Plaza!"
You glanced around—aside from the booth, there were some picnic tables of varying size, a mosaic of the zoo logo on the floor beneath you, a ring of trees around its perimeter, and... not much else. "I see."
"You know, this is one of the first places established for this zoo, back when humans and anthros first began negotiations! Humble beginnings, I think they call it?" She put her hands on her hips proudly, and gestured vaguely towards the booth. "That booth connects to a set of tunnels some of the moles and other diggers have built, to provide us easy travel without getting in your way too much—humans typically don't see 'em unless they're inside someone, though~"
You flinched when she smacked her belly at that remark, though you couldn't help but blush as well, putting aside thoughts of what it might be to actually... be inside the stomach of an anthro like her. Hopefully it wouldn't be too bad, even if you might end up digested at some point.
"Alright, where to next... Gonna save the aquarium for later... ah! Let's head to the Insect Corner next! Lotsa fun folks there, and they're not as gross as you might think! Though it is a bit of a distance... how good are you at running?"
That was a worrying question. "Uh, half-decent?"
"Hm, in that case..."
