In the aftermath of a nuclear exchange in 1983, a fragile peace between the East and West was overshadowed by a looming ice age as proxy wars over the remaining habitable lands raged across the globe. With the population rapidly declining, the superpowers turned to a new type of military vehicle: one-man chassis colloquially called “mecha.”

 

Warsaw, abandoned by the members of its Pact, struggles for survival under martial law. In a city where mecha symbolize power, a pair of pilots—Seba and Ewa—stumble upon a girl with cat-like ears while on the job. When it is revealed that she possesses the ability to grow in size, the woman might prove to be the only biological thing capable of challenging these formidable machines at a time when fuel is rare.
