You wake up, or at least you think you wake up, because despite the familiar sensation of being awake that was running through your body your senses were showing you some kind of unrealistic dream world, a dream world that seemed to belong to a cartoon.
You wonder if this is some sort of lucid dreaming or paranormal experience, because you've never felt like this before. With disbelief you stand up and look around at what seems to be a gigantic mall with a glass ceiling exposing a sunny day outside and decorated fully with a mix of pastel colors, a style that modern society would frown upon. It doesn't look like a huge place with only two floors, the clothing stores on the first floor and on the second some more stores and a food court. The only thing standing out aside for the weird decor was a yellow fountain right in the middle of the first floor, but once you get past all the pastel color decorations you could process it.
What you are having trouble to process is the people, and not even because they also are gigantic to you to the point you believe you are no higher than their ankles, but because their faces are also multicolored with the same pastel overtones. Green, purple, yellow, even the pink colored giants weren't the shade of pink you would expect. You wonder if they were even humans and check your skin just to make sure you didn't become one of them in the process.
You remain in place now convinced this is a dream and try pinching yourself, slapping yourself and pinching yourself again so you can get transported back to bed and start your day, but nothing seems to work and what ends up distracting you from the task is not a feel the dream would end but the tremors of one of the giants closing in to you. You spend a little instant wondering if dying in this world would wake you up in the real one until instinct kicks in and makes you evade a giant blue boot just in time. When you look back up you see a blue-ish giantess looking at her phone while she walked. What color was she anyway? turquoise? aquamarine?
The noise of more footwear clicking on the mall floor reminds you of what just happened and you get near the fountain for cover and to think what to do, now that pinching yourself over and over proved ineffective.
What happens next?
