Free Seats For the Big Folk Surviving on Short Notice chapter 4 by deleted_user

The summer heat was driving your tiny body insane with each passing minute. The shade from the overlying umbrellas was about the only thing keeping you alive right now, but that didn't prevent the pavement below you from absorbing the Sun's burning rays. You can hear the distant laughter of patrons and the obnoxious cries of a small child nearby, so far, no one to help you out of your predicament.

The giant lawn chairs on either side of you were empty, and scattered across the ground below them were small scraps of typical pool snacks and leftovers from the concessions stand. The boom of her bag hitting the ground sends a deadly shockwave straight into your chest, and you are easily knocked onto your back, dozens of meters away. Trying to regain your footing, you look up just in time to see the sky darken as one of the siblings slides in between the chairs. The dusty sole of her bare foot looms over you, raining down small particles of sand, it crashes down right on top of the Doritos and the ants. The girl hardly looks down to notice. Another crash booms behind you as the other sibling's foot stomps down to follow. His foot wasn't nearly as large as the babysitter's, but nonetheless, still big enough to squash you without noticing.

Making a split-second decision before things get too chaotic, you decide to...
