"What are you doing?"

At the sudden voice, dr. Wright actually jumped a little in surprise at the interruption of her focus on you before she stood up straight and looked around.

You take the opportunity to try running further despite the difference in scale and stride making it so that you don't get away as far away as it feels.

Then a series of fresh quakes knock you off your feet as someone approaches Evelyn Wright.

It was a fair-skinned young woman of average height with green eyes and waist-length black hair tied in a high ponytail with short bangs and chin-length strands framing her face. She was dressed casually, wearing a purple hoody and black pants along with some white sneakers.

However, what really got YOUR attention was the massive beast she held onto via a leash as it pads closer, each massive leg slowly bringing it forward inexorably. You freeze up at the thought of this behemoth possibly just devouring you as a snack as it looms like a damn AT-AT!

"Oh...I'm a entomologist, is all, scientist who studies insects. Here looking for subjects." Evelyn said, lying through her teeth.

"So...you're a bug lady?"

"Might say that..." Evelyn acknowledged with a shrug.

OH, THAT TOTAL BITCH! She saw you as just some bug to study! Granted, you had already learned that the hard way, but hearing her dismissal of your existence was still infuriating!

As the two giantesses speak, you stare right up at the Labrador's colossal head, too worried to move as it dips on its neck, the mouth of terrible teeth closing and the wet black nose closes in to fill your vision.

The nostrils are dark caves, and with a sudden inrush of air—robbing your lungs of breath—takes note of you, inhaling your scent.

Doing so, and noting the oddity that is what you became and it's smell, the dog let out a bark that causes you to drop to your knees, holding your new ears in agony at the explosion-like blast of sound. Ok...Enhanced hearing clearly had its ups and downs, one you were going to need to learn!

"Huh? Cassie,what's wrong, girl?" the woman that was distracting the scientist from you asked, looking at the canine. "What's got your attention?"

The woman who was responsible for your current condition dropped her gaze to the ground and tried not to panic as she tried looking for you without making it obvious.

"Oh. Looks like your dog might have noticed something. Probably just one of the specimens I was out to pick up." The middle-aged woman said, trying not to panic at the idea of what a dog could do to her newly-altered subject and silently wishing this lady would leave!

Which, for once, were thoughts and sentiments that you shared!

"Anyways, I need to get back to work."

The woman who was walking her dog nodded, pulling the leash to draw her pet away from you without realizing it. "I see. Later, then."

At that point, you finally realized an opportunity: you could hitch a ride with these newcomers and get away from the mad scientist!

As unsafe as a total stranger and a giant dog were, you knew what Evelyn Wright was going to do with you if she caught you again! And it wasn't like being able to hitch a ride with the dog would be difficult.

So, you could either risk the unknown and POSSIBLY find some potential help, or stick with the devil you knew with Doctor Evelyn Wright!
