After some discussion - of which Lana didn’t feel very included - it was decided that the best place for her was at home. This was an odd situation by any standard, but family was best, apparently.

What they hadn’t taken into account, as Mallow handed over her diminutive best friend, was a certain pair of excitable twins.

”Ohh, she’s so little!” Harper cried.

”Like a dolly!” Sarah squealed.

Two pairs of identical hands smothered Lana’s vision, and she could do little to stop them having their way;

”We can look after her!”

”Yeah! Can we mom?!”

”We’ll be the big sisters!”

”it’ll be fun!”

The girls’ mom gave her okay, and once again, Lana felt as though she had very little say in this matter. It wasn’t as if it affected her or anything…
