Iidas' mighty right hoof, in its third progression through this exact path that evening, loomed over Yvetta's fragile form. Her pride shrank to the size of her minuscule body as she saw it crashing down, the thin layer of dust that coated the underside of hard keratin. The unfathomable ungulate was undeterred from her orders, as the dark ceiling came crashing down. She only had a moment to step away before -
THUD.
The solid stone appeared to become gelatin beneath her before the pound of durable sole. It was an impact like a thousand kegs of gunpowder, launching her up inches into the uncaring skies. Her heart pounded out of her dress. She screamed hoarsely, at the world and her fate in general, before all the air exited her teensy lungs in a resounding impact.
She tried to stand to her heels, but found herself slipping on the slightly-scratched surface. Blindly grasping for a support, Yvetta's gloves clung to a massive clump of damp hair. She instantly drew back at the disgusting sensation in her grip; before grabbing on again in panic as the floor began rising. Her teensy frame was now atop the minotaur guard's hoof, which shot forward in her patrol's path.
BOOM.
She felt herself nearly flung up once more. The powerful sole pressure would have launched her higher, were it not for her white dress getting caught in the thin gap between the two dirt-caked claws. She wailed. How DARE this peon, so far below her, ruin a dress made of the finest materials - each thread woven with meaning, a sigil of her ancestors and a sign of her power! It was like leaving a hoofmark on the Rancelle coat of arms itself!
BOOM.
The guard's next step forward set her even more off-balance, making her clutch to the sturdy leg for support. From here, she could see Iidas' leg had developed a hefty amount of musculature from her rounds. (Though it was unsightly compared to Yvetta's legs, kept at the perfect proportions through careful exercise and assistance from royal dieticians. Who did this oafish cow think she was, overshadowing her like this? She wanted this guard's name for future punishment - but she knew she would forget it soon anyway, what worth was it committing this putrid bovine to memory and poisoning her mind with its methane?)
BOOOOOM.
scrtch.
The opposite foot now itched at the leg idly, pressing and smearing Yvetta into the leg. Its hard surface was unrelenting against her, instantly halting her internal monologuing, and sending her sobbing, clutching to the leg. She would look where the guard was headed, but the halls were all poorly-lit, used the same walls over and over, and rushed by at a downright sickening pace for her constitution...
And if she leaned too far over, the dress snagged in the toes might rip. That would be an UNTHINKABLE blow.
