Against your better judgment, you slowly flutter towards the mage woman in the hopes that her agonizing imprisonment in this labyrinthine dungeon won’t cloud the rational side of her brain. Perhaps once you snap her out of her current funk, the both of you could brainstorm a way out of here?

Hearing the rapid flap of pixie wings, Ilbien’s gaze turns to the source of the tiny sound. “I-is…is that really..?”

Ilbien stares at your airborne form for a few seconds, with an unreadable expression that somehow unnerves you. Perhaps you should have listened to your better judgment after all…

Not that it matters much - before you can even start to fly away, the mage reaches for you lightning-fast, grabbing your small body in a tight, two-hand grip.

“My summoning spell worked!” Ilbien cheers. “I thought for sure I’d die alone in this cold, lonesome prison…”

“Ngh…s-stop, you’re crushing my wings!” you groan, your physical pain seeming to match (or even surpass) the emotional suffering your current cellmate endured before.

“Huh? …oh! Sorry…” Ilbien loosens her hold, allowing your exhausted form to land back-first in her open palms. “I-it’s just…you’re an actual fairy! I didn’t expect the ritual to have any effect, but here you are, in my hands. Hmm…since you’re also capable of magic, is there any way you can get us out of this dungeon?”

Right now, you’re too worn-out from having been constricted by Ilbien’s eager hands to realize it, but there are at least a few ways you and your new friend(?) can escape. Your fairy self is small enough to pick the lock on the cell door; although, a fire spell may be enough to simply melt the door into nothing. Then again, maybe you could use short-range teleportation - but who knows where you might end up?
