You look at the available jobs, resigned to you...
Island of Change Collaberotica Version
Chapter 7
You feel like you're about to vomit and pass out from the realization that you're going to be stuck like this for a while, and to find something to focus on you simply grab the papers in front of you and bring them up to your face, blinking away the tears of frustration as you survey the available jobs. But instead of a listing of actual job positions and the descriptions thereof, like what would be expected of a usual employer, instead there's just a listing of different divisions.
You only glance at the second page, which has even more listings. You turn and stare upwards towards Rich, who seems to be waiting on you.
"Wait, so where are the specific jobs?" You ask, confused. You've worked your fair share of jobs to get where you were before coming to the resort, but you'd never seen anything like this before when applying for jobs. That being said, you'd never been a complete knockout of a woman, either.
"For the sake of simplicity within each division of the Resort, once you choose a division to work for, you'll be allowed to choose from available positions within that division, and receive the proper training needed to fulfill your chosen role" Mark says, and you realize you don't think you've seen him blink since he stepped into the room. Refusing to be crepped out any more than you already are, you bring up what you feel is a far more pertinent question.
"And how much am I going to be paid? I assume I will receive a paycheck of some sort, or at least have my wages paying off my debt via funds transference..."
"As a entry level employee, you will be paid minimum wage until you receive a promotion, which as you said will be entirely subtracted to pay off your debt.Your pay will be $8.75 an hour, deposited every two weeks. Breaches of food and drink allowances, or additional transformations for the job position as well as new uniform requirements will be added to your debt. You will, however, receive a monthly sum that will not be held against your debt. We want our employees to be happy, as such your off-shifts you are free to take part in what the Resort has to offer"
You simply blink. "But...How is anyone supposed to pay off their debt if you keep charging your employees for everything!? There are labor laws that make this illegal! You can't just trick people into doing this!" You nearly scream in anger and frustration, but Mark's smile never drops one iota.
"On the contrary, everything is spelled out what is expected of our employees when they sign the contract. Now, Ms. Sanchez, if you would like to pick a work division? "
You sigh in defeat, and wearily you point a long nailed finger towards...
