Jack tries to climb through the clothes to get to Zoe when he hears someone else come in the room.    He hears a voice that he identifies as Zoe's mom Kate as she says "Hey Zoe.  I'm doing a load of laundry.  Do you want me to throw yours in too."  Zoe responses "Thanks Mom" as the hamper starts to move and you fall in deeper into the pile of clothes. 

Jack is carried in the hampter to the laundry room and Kate starts the machine filling with water and she can't hear him yelling over the noise.  Suddenly his world is turns upside down as Kate dumps the hamper of clothes into the top loading washing and Jack falls in.  Jack tries to get her attention as he frantically climbs to the top of the pile but he arrives at the top just in time to see her throw in a Tide Pod and close the lid.  The machine starts to agitate the clothes and Jack is driven down into the warm soapy water.

Kate returns to move the clothes to the dryer but she fails to notice Jack's dead body wrapped up inside a pair of her underwear.   It isn't until she is watching TV and separating out her clothes from Zoe's that Jack's dead battered body falls out to her view.  She looks at him for a moment out of curiosity wondering how her daughter's ex ended up shrunken and drown in her laundry.  She considers her options and then gets a paper towel to pick him up and drop him in her toilet followed by a flush getting rid of him for good.  "I certainly don't need that complicating our lives." she thought as she returned to her TV and laundry.
