You decide to go to your mother's room, as a sort of simulation for the real thing with Bea. You think it's the best way to go because you can get used to the little details about your new height like how fast you can be at this size, how much time would it take you to travel from one room to the other, or how easy it would be to sneak under her door.

You decide to start casually walking towards the door of your room, marvelling yourself at how tall the ceiling looked, how the carpet felt at points like walking through tall grass at the cleaner parts and rebellious weeds in the less clean ones, and how the lightning felt so dim despite the white sun in the ceiling providing some light. Once you reach the door you smile with satisfaction, at least with the doors of your house which are all the same, crawling under them would be easy. You hope it would be the same in Bea's house and go for it, taking just a few seconds but feeling the slight fear of such a heavy object hanging over you like that.

On the hall there are no lights on and you notice the environment around you feeling quite a bit colder, but thankfully there's a window where enough natural light reaches you to know where you're going. You can see the door to your sister's room right next to yours, but knowing you would have to travel through Bea's house going across the hall until reaching your mother's room made more sense. For this part of the trek you decide to start running, smiling again because you don't feel anything weird with your body and those nasty side effects you felt when you shrunk down were no longer there, no dizziness and no fatigue anymore.

You still feel some frustration though, because the door that you can reach in a matter of seconds at normal size just looms far away from you, and despite running for a whole minute is still far, which means wasted time as a tiny before you reach Bea's room and after you reach it and the time arrives to get out before you grow back. That makes you stop running and start doing some math in your head instead, asking yourself questions such as how much time are you supposed to last in this state, if there was a way to extend it without involving taking another pill and getting exponentially smaller according to the instructions, and if maybe that green pill could do something about it. In any case, you were happy you decided to do this test run first, so many things appeared that you weren't considering...

Finally you reach the door after what felt like 5 minutes approximately in your head, although you couldn't be sure exactly how much time it took you. You crawl under the door and with no natural light this time around, you have to get used to a new level of darkness before moving on. But now that you're here, you wonder what you should do. Should you consider this a successful test and go back to your room? Should you try climbing the bed like most likely you would need to do with Bea? Should you stick around to get a sense of how much longer will you stay shrunk?
