The approaching footsteps sent the city's populace into a frenzy. Many scurried into underground shelters, trying to dodge the bikini model growing on the horizon. But the trembling was only more chaotic in there - every heavy POUND cracking the soil beneath her lumbering mass.
Most fled to the streets, panicking. Huge swarms of cars raced out from parking lots. With Minako Island's high cost of living, many of them were rentals for tourists, or fancy imported sports cars. And soon, the roads ended up a congested mess; a multicolored mass of steel and wheels, occasionally shifting as bumpers collided. Bikers and pedestrians rushed by on the sidewalks; but had a hard time mustering the energy to make it to the exits.
The traffic emitted a shapeless ambience of horns, motors, enraged arguments, and confused muttering. A few tuned in to radio stations, eager for updates on the monster's approach: "...Early reports say 'The Daibijin' is infuriated, and will continue inland. Citizens are advised to evacuate to the nearest..."
Others turned on pop radio stations to calm the terror. The top radio station, with impeccable timing, was playing a peppy song Riho recorded as a promotion - heavily contrasting with her looming, furrowed face.
Eventually, these sounds were all deafened by the dull boom, boom, boom of a colossal woman's steps. The terror in a sky-blue bikini was off the shores, and looking down on them. Her fingers snapped through electrical wires like dental floss; shutting off lights and news broadcasts in the passive wake of her massive body.
Riho had her hands on her wide hips. She surveyed the concrete landscape, barely able to make any people out among the high-reaching, shaking skyscrapers. But that weird life-form had to be here... The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Already bursting at the seams from her fruitless search at the beach - and the temperature boiling her 48-meter body - she was in no mood to slow down for these people. She raised her heel, massive sole eclipsing the bright sun.
"You're in my way!"
STOMP. Her well-exercised, silky fair leg slammed down. As soon as it dropped, everything below collapsed. Tiny people crawled out of their vehicles; and behind them, heard the ghastly scream of metal frame cracking and giving way beneath a 2490 megajoule force.
STOMP. Another step from Riho wrought more carnage from above. The brown high-heel sandal ran over parked cars and stopped vehicles indiscriminately. These descending monoliths easily outsized any of their crumbling SUVs and sports cars. Its raised shape meant some could be safe, taking refuge between the heel and the ball of her foot; but the cataclysmic quakes and sickening crunching as the sole sunk deeper into the asphalt was anything but reassuring.
STOMP. When her left foot lifted again, the ruins of a beautiful, sleek Toyota remained flattened beneath her, pasted in sandy dust and paved road. Cracking chunks of the engine and license plate fluttered off the raised footwear. Brave news reporters caught footage of the morbid display; along with the trembling businesswoman who once owned it, knees to the ground, reaching at the cruel sky in agony. Riho trekked ahead, the next step grinding it to smithereens into a Honda.
STOMP. The uncaring idol's stride stretched 12 meters with each step; nothing on wheels fast enough to escape her oncoming foot, as it used the busy streets as a walkway. With a pair of sandals alone, the colossus known as Riho Futaba easily dominated the crowds, as if wading through crunching leaves. Entire lanes struggled to provide enough room for the 2.5 meter width with toes hanging above.
With great urban sprawl came narrow roads. The Daibijin's wide hips, considered a charm point by many admirers, could barely make it through the tight spaces between high-rising buildings as they swung with her steps. She started off trying to squeeze in sideways; but soon grew impatient. "That weird creature's gotta be getting away... Can't stall!" She bumped her backside from left to right; distorting the solid foundations in the shape of her generous curves. Even those hiding high above in office buildings weren't safe, seeing how the immense Riho could crush their hiding spaces with nothing but a jiggle of her rear!
Many footprints lined with mangled automobiles left a path behind her. And eventually, her search led her to a dead end: the road stopped at a huge car dealership. Desperate tourists who had gathered earlier were now fleeing. The giant beauty put her hands to her hips, and roared.
"Urgh! I don't have time for this!"
PUNT
Using all her force, she swung her right leg back; and kicked it into the building blocking her path. The walls collapsed against her sandals' unforgiving surface. Shiny new models flew in the sky, sparkling in the sun; and raining down miles away, like meteors. Ruins remained where the structure once stood.
When her foot made landfall again, Riho noticed a cool lump under her toes. A nice Mitsubishi, large enough to fit a big family, ended up in the space between her sole and the sandal's material. Without a thought, she scrunched her digits inwards; they pressed on the unprepared steel harder than a garbage compactor. Between skin, muscle, and cork, it was rendered to a juiced husk without even space for a paper inside. It slid off her footwear like a snowflake, down to screaming crowds.
"S-she's unstoppable!"
"Look at the size of those feet!"
"Riho, she'd never do this..."
Showing off the squished remains to the city, the Daibijin declared: "This is just a sample of what I've got in store for that alien lifeform! I'll find you... Even if I have to stomp Okinawa down to sea level!"
