Riho Futaba is surely living up the Japanese kaiju life big time. Totally now embracing her size, power, fame, and to some infamy, its only fair that she would have her own place to live for a little bit of privacy. Okay, maybe privacy is a bit too much of a stretch given Riho loves her monster life so much she totally goes nuts, but its nice to have somewhere she can rest on.
Ever since her transformation, the government had to scramble to find somewhere Riho could live in without being too much of a disaster around Japan. She rested in the mountains of Fuji in the forest several times, the beaches on remote islands, and other places, but never has a true place to call a home. She was constantly traveling everywhere with no end at all. Well luckily for her, the people of Minako Islands had an idea.
The people suggests that in a way, Riho should make the island that she grew her own "Monster" island. A place where she can behave like a kaiju without worries of destroying anything or anyone that she cares about. Not only would be great for tourism, but also let Riho become part of the place that made her a kaiju legend. She often continued to model at the islands as a kaiju, so perhaps they find a way to make it her place.
Over the course of the year, the government reworked Minako Island to make it a permanent kaiju home for Riho Futaba, but she also insisted the c people who already lives on the island continue to be able to live on the island, as she became beloved there, for her playful Monster antics that she is careful about, to helping out relief efforts, to modeling as their giant, and so forth. The government made a huge warehouse like dock for her which is tall and wide, with many people investing tons of resources into making gigantic size (for Riho) items like a bed, chair, tv screen, and much more. It wasn't cheap, but its worth it.
They even created her a zone on another part of the island that allows her to simulate playing a giant monster or any other little things that she wanted to do. Using amazing augmented reality and virtual fancy tech, they create detailed city blocks for her to have fun in playing around her destroying, and you bet Riho Futaba used this a ton to practice her kaiju techniques. She would rampage around virtual cities for hours on end while people watch and cheer her on from a distance. It was such a blast for her. It was even close by the docks as well so she can rise from the ocean as well.
There is so many things Minako Island did for her that it in a way became Riho's monster island, and she couldn't be happier. Minako island's residents even cheerfully called her a goddess and an actual kaiju for fun, and even hosted celebrations in her name, and Riho enjoyed hamming it up as a monster and a god to them every time, but she is still a nice soul.
So what does Riho Futaba do on Monster Island?
