Ultimately, it was decided that they will allow Riho the chance to atone for her mistakes and destruction that she caused by allowing her to help Japan in anyway that she can be allowed to do. She said she was fine with any decision, as she has tons of regrets for the destruction she caused, and the lives that were lost by her, and if she could have a chance to take it all back, she would. The people totally agreed with this, and even acknowledge to her, it isn't her fault at all, as she wasn't herself clearly, especially when the alien thing took control of her and made her attack.
It would take some time for her to adjust to being a giant monster, but it was something that she needed to do in order to atone for her mistakes. First of all, obviously she had to help defend Japan from invaders if anyone were to attack it, being other kaijus, aliens, terrorists, and such. With her laser beam eyes, and hyper beam hands, she is more than capable of being able to defend herself and Japan. Over the last few weeks, she successfully repelled a few monster attacks, and even killed some alien bugs as well (refering to Earth Defense Force) and the people, while afraid at her at first, do see she is trying to help them. Also, she hates bugs, so she had no problem destroying them, even if she did caused damage to the city in the process trying to defend the people.
She would also help with rescue operations, digging people out of the rubble with her big hands, and also with various other stuff around the city, from construction work to demolition (her absolute favorite thing to do and a total blast for her), where she would help build and destroy buildings depending on the situation. She also helped with emergency situations like robberies, storms, and such, using her body to capture criminals, and even her size to shield people from various storms as well.
It may seem like she is put through the ringer with alot of work, from military experiment and testing, to rescue operations and such. She did have alot of regrets, and at times she wishes she isn't a giantess at all. She took alot of things for granted when she was small, like having clothing options. Obviously as a giantess, she is limited to bikinis, swimsuits, and bras and panties that they make for her size, making her a media sensation (though she enjoys it) in more ways than intended. Barely any privacy, with media reporting her pretty much all the time. An object for perverts, and that's just to name a few. Her biggest issue is how much her old career as now been destroyed thanks to all of this. She can't continue her idol career in Dream Club C anymore given her size as there is no stage for her to preform on, and modeling is now pretty much a sex object 24/7. So much that she wishes she has her old life back when she small, and always wonders that in the sky, sometimes with a tear in her eye.
But also at the same time, it is a blast for her. Being gigantic and powerful like the various kaijus in the media, and being seen as one gave her a new found sense of purpose and freedom that she never had before. She isn't afraid (outside of worrying about destroying buildings with people inside by accident and crushing stuff on her feet) about being herself, and having that confidence to make the best choices when they count ultimately. In fact, she feels like an entirely new person but also the same girl as well. Also, the various media attention she gets is super nice, and in a way being able to continue modeling as a monster does have its benefits, and she even serves as a tourist attraction in Japan. She even got to make a ton of new fans as well in the process, who are in loved with the giantess. Her biggest fan base of the Daibijin is surprisingly children, who love the monster girl as she is big and strong, and isn't afraid, and is even a positive role model for the girls as well. She even spent some time visiting elementary schools and playing with the various kids, and even for fun acting like a playful kaiju right at them.
It may be a life of regrets, but also a life of admissions. She is now the Daibijin, and now we go into her journey of how she atones for Japan.
