Yang XIAO Long (Get it? Xiao is Chinese for small, and Yang becomes small? haha... sorry...) RWBY Shrunken Interactive chapter 3 by theHornedPine

Dr. Oobleck was lecturing about the history of the workers' revolution and how the proletariat revolted against their dirty bourgeois oppressors, but barely anybody was paying attention. Yang, in particular, was too focused on passing notes to Blake. Blake herself was interesting in the lesson, but she certainly didn't mind the distraction. But someone sure minded...

"Can you two stop that?" Weiss groaned. "It's incredibly distracting, and I'm actually trying to do well in this class."

"Miss Schnee! If you don't want to pay attention to my class, then can you at least not disrupt the other students' learning?" Oobleck shot Weiss a soul-crushing glare.

"B-But I-" Weiss tried to defend herself, but upon seeing Oobleck tilt his head disapprovingly, she backed down. "I apologise." She turned to Yang and hissed.

At the cafeteria, as Team RWBY and JNPR sat down for lunch, Weiss quietly glared at Yang, still upset about what happened in class. Yang didn't seem to mind, or at least she didn't show it. Instead, Yang was her usual carefree self, chatting boisterously with her classmates and being super-duper platonic with Blake (it's just a friend thing to place your hand on her thigh and spend the whole time stealing glances, right?)

"So, Yang, are you coming to the gym with us?" Nora asked, flexing as she pumped herself up for the Team Workout she had planned. "Ren didn't believe me when I told him how much you could bench!"

Yang grinned, getting pumped up just from listening to Nora. "Ah man, I could go for a good workout! That fight we had in combat training was super lame." She sighed. "But little miss ice queen here wants me to help her with her Dust Sciences class, since I got her in trouble with Oobleck."

"It's the least you can do for me," Weiss raised her nose at Yang, "Maybe you could actually learn something this time."

"Blake, wanna come? I could use some company from someone with less of stick up her butt."

"Sorry, Yang," Blake tilted her head, "Ruby and I were going to the library for our literature class."

"We'd have asked you to come before Weiss took you away, but we both know you're not much of a reader, huh sis?" Ruby teased in a way only a younger sister could.

"Hey! I read plenty!"

"I don't think motorcycle magazines count," Blake lightly teased.

"Oh." Yang grinned, throwing her hands up. "I guess you're right, then~"

As lunch was over and everybody dispersed, Yang waited in the science class for Weiss, who was unusually late. She sighed, crossing her arms in a huff. "I can't believe she's making me wait for her to help her with her homework!" Yang's idleness grew to restlessness, and so she began to boredly walk around the room, touching everything (including the things with a "Do Not Touch" sticker) with curious hands.

"Beakers, test tubes, shotgun shells [this was a combat school, afterall]," Yang listed with a sigh as she attempted to find anything to fascinate her. But then, something caught her eye. "Huh, what's this? 'Dust Experiment: Mass Dust, Attempt 2 (failure).' Huh, neat." Yang haphazardly slid out one of these test tubes of strange blue-tinted dust, which shimmered with an almost electric glare. "It says it was a failure, but it looks real pretty. I bet this would make a super cool- whoops!"

As Yang was handling the dust without the care the warning labels asked, it slipped in her hands just enough to whip a cloud of dust into Yang's face. As she coughed the dust out of her lungs, tossing the test tube of dust aside, she began to feel... funny. Not bad funny, but funny. Her vision blurred, her head became lighter, and even the clothes on her body started feeling as if they were melting off of her.

These affects soon subsided, though Yang remained dazed and confused, especially as her vision came back to her and she found herself a brand new place. She sobered up somewhat as the cold, biting air blew across her skin, far more naked than she remembered herself being. As she came back and began to examine her new surroundings closely, she realised something horrific.

"Is this... the science lab?" Yang asked in horror, though she needed no response. The vast lab tables loomed overhead, the now faraway and illegible Dust Safety posters barely recognisable on the mountain range walls, and even her clothes now pooled around her like a lake of fabrics. "At least that explains why I'm naked."

She couldn't believe it, she had somehow shrunken herself down to a tiny size. But exactly how small? Well, if she had to guess...
