Stomp-Stomp-STOMP.

That telltale pounding on the floorboards. Sweet Seasonal Sisters, it was her. Weiss could tell by that hurried speed and heavy footing, before she even turned the doorknob. While Schnees usually took pride in their acute senses, the 3-inch huntress wished she could've turned her ears off; or at least lowered the volume.

It could've been either other member of RwBY. Yang - over-the-top, but she had some maturity. Blake - they'd argued before, but she could stay calm and focused under pressure, at least for a second. Pyrrha visiting would've been even better.

But no. Standing tall in the doorway, stretching, it was that caped brunette. That hyperactive bundle of rose petals. That huntress who'd somehow dashed her way into the teachers' good books. That lucky brat who she had to call "team leader". That bloody red blot on all her perfect black-and-white plans.

That dolt.

"Whaaaaahhh~!" Ruby Rose let out a booming yawn that brought Weiss to her knees, covering her pounding temples. She was naturally 5'4" - just enough to make a full-sized Ice Queen feel inadequate. Enough to make the shrunken snowflake stare up in shocked awe at the monumental boots, each several times her own height. From this perspective, she could see bits of crushed grass and fresh, earth ground in the deep treads. She must've been training, Weiss thought...

...Before realizing the boot treads were aiming right at her. A long shadow washing over her albino ponytail. She screamed. "Down here! It's ME, Ruby! Use your eyes!" - her words were swallowed in the shadow of Ruby's incoming--

STOMP

"WOAH-OAH!"

Ruby's other foot had landed on another dust vial. One she'd left lying around when weapon-smithing - and one which was bigger and more durable than Weiss' fragile form. It instantly crackled; and if it weren't for the small explosion set off by her boot's force, Ruby wouldn't have even noticed it.

But there was a noticeable BOOM. It sent Ruby stumbling. Weiss' sky was covered in a vast canopy from the red skirt layers. She had no time to escape the falling mass of doughy butt meteor. All she could manage was another shout:

"Ruby wears black lingerie? That has to be against uniform code! Beacon Academy should ban this kind of--"

SLAM.

If either student shifted a centimeter to the left or the right, Weiss would be nothing but a dot on one of the black-clad backside. If the dust were just a twinge more powerful, the impact of the buttcrack would snap every white bone in her body to a dust-like consistency. As it stood, Weiss was left muffled, bruised, burning from the heat and embarrassment, but alive. And her huge teammate was just a little dizzy, with an uncomfortable wedgie.

"Wahahh... Anyone get the license on that van...?" Her huge head spun, as she rubbed her short hair, dusting herself off.

"Stupidstupidstupidstupidstupidstupid..." Weiss tried to whine her way from the pain. Her body came unglued from the cheeks, arms twisted uncomfortably, left in a slight indent of the impact in the floor.

Yet another piece of careless damage caused to the dorm room. At this size, details of slight damage even a Schnee's keen eye overlooked - scattered belongings, subtle mud trails from footprints, cracks in the floorboards - were painfully obvious. She'd have to give everyone a stern talking-to... and look out for her own clunky heels.

But as heiress, she had to choose her battles. And right now, her massive, red target was on the move. Those powerful boots, like black goliath grim, were her best chance of surviving; best chance of being noticed; getting a heartfelt apology; growing back; and then graduating top of her class; and getting actual growth dust so she could be tall like she always deserved.

First, determining what Ruby was up to in the room. And that seemed to be...
