But next to it was a report of multiple pages, a report that always brightened Angela's work regardless of the outcome. She used the coffee machine, brought her filled cup to her desk and along with the energy shot savored the idea of another successful project. She worked for decades to achieve this kind of position, the head of research for a big company with big ideas like EvolveTech that allowed her the freedom and budget to pursue the impossible.

And even as a renowned scientist, she had to do a double take on what the report was showing, a feeling she hadn't gotten on ages.

"Were we really that quick?" She calmly logged in to her laptop and started to check the numbers of the particular iteration exhaustively, but her happy grin was betraying the excitement that was bursting through her body. This was a category AA project, one of the big ones, one of those that could easily translate in a new monopoly for EvolveTech and in a Nobel prize for Angela. Her hands started trembling a bit, there were no good faith mistakes, no miscalculations between the teams that worked separately on the components of this project under her watch.

"Huh.. It's stable, it's safe, it can be replicated.. it is done" Angela raised her eyebrow in disbelief, less than 75 iterations! She did something she never done before at work and laughed happily, the things that could be achieved with the right resources and people allocated.

DCG stood for Dermo cell growth, a product that aimed to stimulate cell growth without the need for transplants or surgeries. It branched off from Evolvetech's passive research on cancer, but the potential applications for healthy cell growth were vast. From limb operations to breakthroughs in the battle against aging, all coming from an easy to use topical medication. It required testing to cover the different scenarios, Angela just needed to decide how to cover the testing. 

And that was part of the many perks of EvolveTech. With their vast connections it would be easy to skip the red tape while keeping things ethical, administering the potentially revolutionary product to someone under the guise of a common skin cream and tracking the results, safeguarding them from liability in the case something went wrong. But she checked the numbers, she knew it wasn't a matter of whether it was going to work, but how well it would.

It all depended on which scenario Angela wanted to cover first.
