The walk to Opal High School is fairly quick for you, given your experience navigating the city of New Opal (and despite your relative lack of physical exercise). Since it’s summer, you’re able to enter the building as a visitor and make your way to the classroom of your former homeroom teacher: Ms. Goldfinger. She is rather tall, a redhead, and fairly serious compared to most of the other teachers, but she simply wants the best for her students.
“Ah, Lucian Smith!” Ms. Goldfinger nods. “What brings you here again?”
“Hi, Ms. Goldfinger!” you reply with a soft smile. “I invented this ring that allows the wearer to shrink down to an inch in size. Observe!”
Pressing the gem of the ring on your finger, you rapidly dwindle in scale, much to the surprise of the teacher. Once you’re good and shrunken, she lowers a hand for you to walk onto, before raising you to eye level.
“Fascinating!” Ms. Goldfinger remarks. “But what do you plan to use this device for?”
Your face reddens slightly. “Well...I had hoped to explore the human body from the inside...”
Ms. Goldfinger stares almost blankly in response. She admires your curiosity about anatomy, but at the same time, what if her body endangers you in some way?
Sighing, the redhead says...
